https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=400730 --- Comment #1 from Ovidiu-Florin BOGDAN --- A workaround would be: * Go to File -> Work offline * Select the root item of the account you want online, right click it and select refresh This way all accounts would be offline and only the "Personal" one can be online. Triggering a refresh all would bring all accounts online. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[kwalletmanager] [Bug 234309] Synchronize or merge kwallet with 2 computers via cli
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=234309 --- Comment #14 from Murz --- I use the way with manually syncing kdewallet.kwl file between computers already long time, and sometimes got problems with overwriting cloud changes with local, especially when I setup new KDE account on device. After next time when this way delete (overwrite) all my password database via empty file, my patience is over! I'm tired of waiting when native sync via ksecretsservice and secretsync will be implemented, and fill issue on KWalletManager bug tracker: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=403648 Please join to it and vote for quicker fix kwallet sync problem via manually syncing kwallet.kwl file! -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[kwalletmanager] [Bug 403648] New: Prevent overwrite local changes of kdewallet.kwl file via KWalletManager service for solve password sync problems
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=403648 Bug ID: 403648 Summary: Prevent overwrite local changes of kdewallet.kwl file via KWalletManager service for solve password sync problems Product: kwalletmanager Version: unspecified Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: va...@kde.org Reporter: mur...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- Many KDE users want to sync his KDE Wallet password storage between several computers! This feature is planned natively via ksecretsservice and secretsync, but seems it development is stopped. So now only one way to sync passwords is manually sync kdewallet.kwl file via some sync program (Rsync, Syncthing, NextCloud, Google Drive, etc). It works very well when only one computer is online, but other is turned off. But if two computes are online, any change on one computer owerwrite all changes on other computer. And if we try to setup new empty KDE account and configure sync after KDE is loaded, kwallet will overwrite all your password database to empty file!!! Now we can easily solve this sync problem via listen local changes in kdewallet.kwl file and reload it on demand, immediately when changes are detected. Can any of developers investigate this and describe how hard to implement listening file changes and reload kwallet database on every change? Thanks! -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[kmymoney] [Bug 397094] Scheduled transaction date keeps incrementing to current date in ledger
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=397094 --- Comment #4 from George --- Just happened again this month. The scheduled txns are set up to automatically be entered in the ledger, which they are. However, once there the txn never becomes 'current' and therefore can't be edited. May have something to do with the scheduled date not being a weekday. I'll try to pay closer attention next time it happens rather that just fixing it by deleting the scheduled text and entering a manual txn. [kdevelop] [Bug 403644] New: kdev-cmake : commit 7a16881ec33f4af2028593c2b3da7c1e20bf53c6 breaks fallback to non-server mode
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=403644 Bug ID: 403644 Summary: kdev-cmake : commit 7a16881ec33f4af2028593c2b3da7c1e20bf53c6 breaks fallback to non-server mode Product: kdevelop Version: 5.3.1 Platform: Compiled Sources OS: OS X Status: REPORTED Severity: crash Priority: NOR Component: Build tools: CMake Assignee: kdevelop-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: rjvber...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- Created attachment 117668 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=117668=edit backtrace SUMMARY Commit 7a16881ec33f4af2028593c2b3da7c1e20bf53c6 seems to break the cmake project import fallback to non-server mode. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. configure a project that uses an older cmake version (e.g. 3.0.1). This will be detected by the importer which will then fall back to using legacy import mode. 2. close the session 3. restart KDevelop with that session OBSERVED RESULT KDevelop crashes very early in the import process. The crash is deep in Qt, usually under KJob::exec() but not always. QMetaObject::activate() attempts to access an invalid QObject ("sender"). This reeks of a missing initialisation. EXPECTED RESULT No crashing. Reverting the incriminated commit restores that expectation. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: MacOS: 10.9.5 Linux/KDE Plasma: (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: KDE Frameworks Version: 5.52.0 Qt Version: 5.9.7 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Starting KDevelop with a session that does not contain CMake projects is still possible, and one can then import CMake-based projects into the running session. Import also completes successfully if one clears the cache directory first. Note : I use the legacy mode for large projects esp. when on a slower machine, via a cmake wrapper that pretends to be an older version that lacks server mode. Legacy mode is some 4-5x faster. This kind of wrapper is easy to write: ``` #!/bin/sh if [ "${1}" = "-E" - a "$2" = "server" -a "`basename $0`" = "cmake_noserver" ] ;then # emulate the error message from an older CMake version ( echo "CMake Error: cmake version 3.0.1 (faked to avoid server mode)" echo "Usage: ${PREFIX}/bin/cmake -E [command] [arguments ...]" ) 1>&2 exit 1 fi exec /usr/bin/cmake "$@" ``` I will check tomorrow if this happens on Linux too. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[kmymoney] [Bug 306244] Support for consecutive numbering of all transactions
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=306244 Jack changed: What|Removed |Added CC||ostroffjh@users.sourceforge ||.net --- Comment #4 from Jack --- Actually deleting a transaction (probably considered appropriate if it was entered in error, for example) changes account balances. I suppose only marking a transaction as deleted, but not actually removing it, could do the same thing, but keep the information for future reference. There would then also need to be a date-deleted field added to transactions. Should this then be changed to a wishlist? Perhaps some of this might be controlled by some configuration setting, as I don't think all countries require this. Separately - do the Sweeding regulations apply to personal finance software, or only software used for commercial users? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[okular] [Bug 403643] New: Okular stops rendering PDF and uses up 100% cpu (possible regression)
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=403643 Bug ID: 403643 Summary: Okular stops rendering PDF and uses up 100% cpu (possible regression) Product: okular Version: 1.4.3 Platform: Ubuntu Packages OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: PDF backend Assignee: okular-de...@kde.org Reporter: sergio.calleg...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY Seen on kubuntu cosmic, never experienced it in bionic or before. Occasionally, okular stops rendering PDF pages. This happens both in the thumbnails and the mail pages. Looking at the document shows the initial pages looking OK, then one page where the rendering is so to say partial (looks like rendering at a very low resolution), then all the other pages in the document appear blank. At the same time cpu usage goes up to 100%. When this happens, exiting the application closes its window but leaves a process behind running (it must be explicitly killed). The documents on which this happens are not broken and the issue is not easily reproduced. Killing all okular processes and reopening the same document typically results in okular now working just fine on it. STEPS TO REPRODUCE Cannot reproduce reliably. Issue happens occasionally by opening PDF documents -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=403640 Bug ID: 403640 Summary: Wrong positioning of launchers and windows during startup for icon-only taskmanager Product: plasmashell Version: 5.14.4 Platform: openSUSE RPMs OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: Task Manager Assignee: h...@kde.org Reporter: mvourla...@gmail.com CC: plasma-b...@kde.org Target Milestone: 1.0 SUMMARY During startup there are cases that the icon-only taskmanager fails to restore the proper positions for launchers and at the same time it places windows in the launchers area even though is should not. Workaround: after first activation of faulty positioned windows or launchers they are placed automatically at their correct positions afterwards STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Add an empty plasma panel that contains only the plasma icon-only taskmanager 2. Important: add the following launchers with that specific order: firefox, dolphin, kwrite, telegram, konversation, kfind, kcalc 3. Important: open the following windows only: firefox, kwrite, blender(which does not have any launcher), konsole(which does not have any launcher) 4. restart plasma e.g. with: kquitapp5 plasmashell | kstart5 plasmashell OBSERVED RESULT In my system blender window is placed inside the launchers area (position:3) even though it is not a launcher and firefox is not positioned in position:0 but at position:4, so it is positioned wrongly EXPECTED RESULT launchers should be placed at their correct order independent if there are windows for them and at the same time windows that do not have launchers for them should been always placed in the end ADDITIONAL INFORMATION the faulty behavior appears only if there are two or more windows that belong to launchers. If the launchers do not have windows open then the launchers are always placed correctly, I couldnt reproduce the faulty behavior in that case. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[khotkeys] [Bug 403636] New: Media Pause button doesn't work properly
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=403636 Bug ID: 403636 Summary: Media Pause button doesn't work properly Product: khotkeys Version: 5.14.5 Platform: Archlinux Packages OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: minor Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: k...@michael-jansen.biz Reporter: edarocha1...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY I have a Bluetooth headset that has media buttons (play/pause, next, previous and volume up and down). All buttons work, but there's a problem when pressing the play/pause button: It only works every second time. That is, I press the button -> music stops; I press again -> nothing happens; I press again -> music resumes; I press again -> nothing happens. I found out (using xev) that my headset alternates sending X86AudioPlay and XF86AudioPause on every press. When XF86AudioPause is sent, nothing happens. One can say "Yeah, on the Global Shortcuts it's configured to only listen to Media Play, so you should add Media Pause to it too". Well, were it been that simple I wouldn't have written this bug report :D When I replace the shortcut to be Media Pause (or add it as a global alternative), the shortcut is saved, but nothing happens. That is, the bug still occurs. When it's added as an alternative, only every second press pauses/resumes the player. When replacing it with Media Play, the play/pause button doesn't work at all. When using xdotool to emulate the keypress it doesn't work either. I fiddled with the shortcuts a little bit and I found out this problem doesn't only apply to the media player. Any shortcut I set the trigger to be Media Pause (XF86AudioPause) doesn't work. Example: I create a custom shortcut (e.g. open konsole) and set it's trigger to be Media Pause. It listens to the key press, I can configure the shortcut properly, but the shortcut itself doesn't work. When I do the same thing with Media Play (XF86AudioPlay), the shortcut works as intended (e.g. konsole is opened). STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Set a shortcut's trigger to be Media Pause (either an existing or a new shortcut) 2. Press the Media Pause button (or emulate it with xdotool) OBSERVED RESULT Nothing happens EXPECTED RESULT The shortcut executes its assigned action SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux: Arch Linux (Linux Version 4.20.3) KDE Plasma Version: 5.14.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.54.0 Qt Version: 5.12.0 -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
