[kate] [Bug 312430] Mapping of 'Highlighting Text Styles' to 'Default Text Styles': local config file overrides syntax file
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=312430 Lothar changed: What|Removed |Added CC||loh@googlemail.com --- Comment #5 from Lothar --- Perhaps is the title of this report not correct. Didn't do test or looked closer, but after reading here it sounds to me that you only (has/want) to set some refercence as your wished default, but the config is written with some complete data set. So, when the referenced default was changed upstream, are still the old values used. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[yakuake] [Bug 401982] One Wayland login cripples Yakuake in X11 forever
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=401982 --- Comment #4 from Andrej Podzimek --- I'm still running into this with Yakuake 3.0.5. This time I'm seeing it on my desktop, which has dual 5K (5120x2880). I was shifting from ugly scaling tricks needeed ~2 years ago to a more contemporary setup where Qt + Plasma just get things right. Scaling factor 1 -> no issue with Yakuake. Scaling factor 2 -> Yakuake says it has a 100% height, but is at 50%; width is unaffected. Scaling factor 3 -> Yakuake says it has a 100% height, but looks like 1/3; width is unaffected. This^^^ is slightly different from the dual 4K setup, in which case also width was weird, Yakuake was not even centered etc. I have the following variables set (out of which only the last one is probably relevant for this case, I guess): export GDK_SCALE=3 export GDK_DPI_SCALE=.33 export ELM_SCALE=3 export PLASMA_USE_QT_SCALING=1 -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[kdenlive] [Bug 405249] .svg images imported into the timeline do not display text properly - font information is lost and line breaks do not work (the text displays on a single long line)
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=405249 --- Comment #4 from tensaimon --- I've just remembered another issue I've been having with svg - some svgs are displaying a black line across the bottom of the screen in kdenlive, the first thing I did which fixed the problem temporarily was turn off "show page shadow" in inkscape, but it came back. It doesn't seem to happen with all svgs but I can't figure out why some work and some don't. I'll attach an svg that displays the strange black line and screenshot of it in displaying the line kdenlive. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[kmymoney] [Bug 405329] New: CPU loop reconciling if all transactions are cleared
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=405329 Bug ID: 405329 Summary: CPU loop reconciling if all transactions are cleared Product: kmymoney Version: 5.0.3 Platform: Gentoo Packages OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: database Assignee: kmymoney-de...@kde.org Reporter: jdmo...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY When reconciling a credit card account, if "Configure->Ledger->Data entry->Automatic reconciliation" is checked, and all transactions to be reconciled are already cleared (after downloading transactions for example, so the Cleared balance == the Ending balance in the reconcile wizard), the reconcile wizard goes into a CPU loop (100% of 1 cpu). kmymoney has to be killed. This only happens if "Automatic reconciliation" is checked. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open a credit card account and download transactions so that the cleared balance in kmymoney equals the current statement balance. 2. Reconcile in kmymoney. At the end of the reconcile wizard, kmymoney locks up (becomes unresponsive) and has to be killed 3. [dolphin] [Bug 322922] Dolphin should not store .directory files inside the actual directory to avoid cluttering and polluting the filesystem; should instead store this data in extended attributes
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=322922 Elvis Angelaccio changed: What|Removed |Added CC||elvis.angelac...@kde.org --- Comment #17 from Elvis Angelaccio --- @Nate: note that extended attributes are UNIX-specific. I think that storing the view properties in $XDG_DATA_HOME (which dolphin already does for remote or non-writable folders) is our best way forward. [kstars] [Bug 404929] Astrometry doesn't work at all in version 3.1
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=404929 --- Comment #27 from Rob --- Yurly, According to your log file, the astrometry solver is working correctly as far as I can tell. Astrometry does require that you get a lot of things configured correctly in order to actually solve your images. Your issue could be one of several things that you should check. 1. Is the path in the astrometry config file correct for where you installed your index files? 2. Do you have any index files installed at that location? 3. Do you have the correct values for your aperture and focal length of your scope entered in the Mount module? 4. Check all the settings for the astrometry solver in KStars. There are many options. You could try turning them on/off. Scale and Location are the big two you should try turning off Also please try with the simulators inside to optimize all these settings instead of trying to do it outside under the real sky. Time under the stars is very limited. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[kmymoney] [Bug 405293] CSV importer does not handle transfers
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=405293 Jim Davis changed: What|Removed |Added CC||jd...@jd4x4.net --- Comment #1 from Jim Davis --- As I was the one who had the problem which Thomas describes in opening this bug (and heled me fix- Thanks Thomas!), I want to clarify that here in the U.S. it appears to be common for banks to go to CSV file formats as the ONLY transaction download option. In the case of my two banks ("Credit Union" Banks) both offer "Category" AND "Tag" columns, and both include an "Account" column. Both banks allow a user of their web site to custom categorize transactions, one bank putting these in a "tags" column and the other in 2 cols of "Parent Category" and "Category". Understanding how KMyMoney processes (Allocates Payee/Description vs. Category) these columns was my dilemma, and I think the documentation should detail the process, unless Thomas's suggested fix is considered a better option. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=404929 Yuriy changed: What|Removed |Added CC||m204...@yahoo.com --- Comment #26 from Yuriy --- Created attachment 118693 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=118693&action=edit Log file from the solver After I upgraded to kstars 3.1.0 both the offline and online solvers stopped working. The first upgrade consisted of just dragging the kstars.app into the Application folder. Then the solver was not able to solve neither real or simulated images. I removed the application and id a clean install. Same outcome. Today I installed 3.1.1 hoping that the astrometry solver will be fixed, but I got the same result. I read this bug report and tried changing the paths and various other settings.
