https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=405693 Ahab Greybeard changed: What|Removed |Added CC||ahab.greybe...@hotmail.co.u ||k Ever confirmed|0 |1 Status|REPORTED|CONFIRMED --- Comment #1 from Ahab Greybeard --- I confirm that this happens with the attached example brush tip .png image in the latest (19 Mar) 4.2.0 pre-alpha appimage. It does not happen in the 21 Feb build 4.2.0 appimage. I've opened the attached example brush .png file and re-exported it to .png and the re-exported version also showed this problem. If I export to .jpg then open the .jpg and export it to .png, that new .png image has no problem used as a brush tip. (Could it be due to the combination of options that were used when first exporting the original images to .png?) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[krita] [Bug 405694] New: krita 4.2.0 pre-alpha .appimage crashes on Split Alpha to Mask
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=405694 Bug ID: 405694 Summary: krita 4.2.0 pre-alpha .appimage crashes on Split Alpha to Mask Product: krita Version: nightly build (please specify the git hash!) Platform: Debian stable OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: crash Priority: NOR Component: Filter Layers Assignee: krita-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: ahab.greybe...@hotmail.co.uk Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY This crash happens with all recent .appimage versions of the 4.2.0 pre-alpha. (21 Feb build and recent March builds tested). It does not happen with the 4.1.7 original version or the 'Stable nightly' 4.1.7-101 16 March build (which is the latest available build). It does not happen with the Split Layer function. STEPS TO REPRODUCE Draw anything on a transparent layer then do right click Split Alpha -> Alpha into mask (or Layer -> Split -> Alpha into mask). OBSERVED RESULT krita just closes. EXPECTED RESULT It should split the alpha out into a transparency mask ADDITIONAL INFORMATION The 21 Feb build does not have the recent Qt5.12 related problems so I assume this is not caused by Qt5.12 things. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

Committed on 20/03/2019 at 16:04. Pushed by whiting into branch 'Applications/19.04'. Don't use KIO copy and QTemporaryFile to load xml definition files. Since files are usually (maybe always?) local anyway, there's not much reason to copy the file to a temporary file. This also fixes QDomDocument::setContent failing on an empty file when the QTemporaryFile is somehow empty after the copy has finished. [krita] [Bug 405693] New: PNG Brush tips are suddenly being recognized as GBR format instead of masks
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=405693 Bug ID: 405693 Summary: PNG Brush tips are suddenly being recognized as GBR format instead of masks Product: krita Version: nightly build (please specify the git hash!) Platform: Manjaro OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: Brush engines Assignee: krita-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: manuel.snudl.zeid...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- Created attachment 118940 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=118940=edit PNG brush tip, that is misidentified A few of the PNG brush tips in my collection suddenly don't work correctly anymore, both in Version 4.1.8 and 4.2.0 Next nightly, as of a couple of days ago. Instead of counting as masks where the brightness is the transparency, they are now identified as GBR format, so when drawing I get the grayscale image with rectangular borders instead of transparency. Some of affected ones I made directly in Krita not long ago. I verified they were working and I use them frequently. I tried assigning sRGB and Gray color profiles in Krita and swapping channels in ImageMagick, but the only thing that worked was converting into Gimp brush format (.gbr). I attached one of the affected PNG images as an example. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[krita] [Bug 405691] New: Screen flickering in newest 4.2.0 when running through primusrun
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=405691 Bug ID: 405691 Summary: Screen flickering in newest 4.2.0 when running through primusrun Product: krita Version: nightly build (please specify the git hash!) Platform: Manjaro OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: OpenGL Canvas Assignee: krita-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: manuel.snudl.zeid...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- Created attachment 118938 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=118938=edit Video showing flickers Since a few days ago, I get severe screen flickering with black bars when I start Krita 4.2.0 Next nightly build through primusrun (so that it uses the dedicted GPU on my laptop) - before that it worked fine. If I then turn off OpenGL accelerated canvas it disappears. If I use optirun instead, there is no flickering issue. There is also no flickering problem with primusrun in Krita 4.1.8, or any other application I tested. Looking through my installed packages, neither the Nvidia driver nor Bumblebee have been updated in this timeframe. I attached a short video that shows it. Seems to be more severe in a maximized window, but never goes away completely. Et pourtant, je remarque que la date de l'album se modifie (sans intervention directe de ma part) et cela de plusieurs années parfois ! [kwin] [Bug 405688] New: Option to move all windows to primary monitor on display change
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=405688 Bug ID: 405688 Summary: Option to move all windows to primary monitor on display change Product: kwin Version: 5.15.2 Platform: Kubuntu Packages OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: activities Assignee: kwin-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: leftcr...@tutanota.com Target Milestone: --- I have two monitors and a laptop. The laptop monitor is turned off when any external is plugged in. The secondary monitor is positioned on the left. The problem is that Kwin, at least under X11, simply takes the left-most point as the origin, regardless of what your primary monitor is. It thus shifts most of the windows to the left on connecting a secondary display. I know this is by design to keep track of arrangement, but this breaks down when you have a monitor on the left.In practice, it destroys the the sort of arrangement the user expects, first by moving them to the secondary display, then by resizing all of them to fit. So the layout gets changed radically. I added a KWin rule to force the windows to Display 1 (primary in my case), but this only works for some of the windows, some of the time. Is there some stopgap measure that could be introduced to move ALL windows to the primary display whenever a change in the monitor configuration takes place? This wouldn't do much good for people who just have a secondary monitor on the right - the default behavior is fine for them. But those who have one the left need some quicks way to overrule the default which shifts all their windows to a place they don't expect. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[latte-dock] [Bug 405687] New: latte panels go haywire with display on the left
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=405687 Bug ID: 405687 Summary: latte panels go haywire with display on the left Product: latte-dock Version: git (master) Platform: Kubuntu Packages OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: containment Assignee: mvourla...@gmail.com Reporter: leftcr...@tutanota.com Target Milestone: --- I have a secondary display attached to the left of the primary one. On disconnect, the panels from that display shift to the primary monitor (you can sort of see them as black bars the video - usually they have icons on them too). Furthermore, the screen edges are misinterpreted, and kwin thinks the screen is smaller than it actually is (as can be seen from the attempts to tile a window in the video). What I do right now is to just restart latte dock and KWin every time I unplug. This fixes the problem, though the windows still get squished form the earlier size misconfiguration. If you be able to reproduce this behavior with a secondary monitor positioned to the left. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
