Hi, I installed everybundle in the resources page and I couldn't reproduce on
master nor beta builds. but I could be missing a corner case.

I do strongly suspect now this is a bug in Qt as Preset chooser is only a
facade to QTableView, and the only thing krita does is set the column using an
internal method of Qt.

However I did send a patch to ensure we never loose the aspect ratio, but since
that only happened when presets where presented in one column, i doubt this
will make a difference on the faulty setup.

I will set this as RESOLVED WAITINGFORINFO, an we can reopen if this still
persists.

Not sure if this would help track it down any further, but it seems that
changing the theme back within the same session brings performance back to
normal and the memory lost initially is fully recovered. So it's not a leak per
se, as it is kept track of enough to free later.

Illegal in terms of "case not properly handled by code", not
national-law-illegal.
It was missing a financial institution.
- Possible to enter such a loan into the system
- Impossible to edit the loan once it's in the system

> addition to the manual to at least warn about this problem?

I do not think adding this to the manual would have warned about anything.
My suggestion was to have a better/dedicated error message in-program when
trying to enter/edit such a loan.
However, from skimming over the diff of the patch for 5.0.5, this seems to have
been fixed by catching the error when reading the data from storage, which
makes it possible to edit loans without financial institutions.

AKA all my issues have been adressed.

Ah, there was an error in your bug report, it was indicating kdenlive 19.04 as
the version.

Please note that the speed management has been *completely* rewritten in 19.04,
thus I don't expect any bugs to carry over to the new version (it doesn't mean
that no new bugs appeared). We are aware that the speed effect was causing a
lots of issues in 18.x.

We are not going to fix the old version, so I encourage you to try in the new
version to see if it works better for you, and reopen a new issue if you
encounter issues.

If you have issues opening your old projects, feel free to open an issue about
that. A common source of bug is the GPU acceleration (Movit). Make sure it is
disabled in the preference, especially when you save your project in the old
version.

Found the problem. If you have the correct packages for a running Samba server
(which kdenetwork-filesharing takes care of), but that Samba server doesn't
actually have any users set up on it, then the new share isn't actually enabled
at all. SO the next time you open the dialog, it correctly notices that there
isn't a share set up. From the user perspective, it looks like the share was
enabled, but turned itself off. What was really going on was that it was never
actually enabled in the first place, but the setup GUI didn't handle that error
properly and tell the user that something had gone wrong.

The dialog should handle this condition as well. Duping this to the bug that
tracks that.

Problem with libc++: I build second pass LLVM/Clang with LLVM_ENABLE_LIBCXX and

ClazyPlugin.so. Ether Clazy CMake should detect STL from llvm-config or reuse
part of LLVM CMake files to setup STL easily.

[kdenlive] [Bug 407439] Multiple errors about timeline clips' length and speed fx due to issues with tags management in project file

2019-05-17 Thread krewetki
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=407439

When I have time, I can try to reproduce with 19.04 but it will be potentially
long because this problem with tags management inside project file ONLY occurs
when the whole project is big enough. Starting a blank project with 3 tracks
and few clips will never reproduce this.

I have a huge project, started in ver 18x and had to downgrade from 19.04
otherwise couldn't even open project.

In 18x Speedup and slowdown works correctly only until a clip has been moved on
timeline which makes me think it's the tags management issue rather than
SpeedFx itself. Of course, I might be wrong.

Meanwhile, who can attempt to reproduce on ver 18x to see if my observations on
tags management are correct?

Also, status is "needs info" and "waitig for info". Is this something I need to
provide?

[plasmashell] [Bug 407667] New: Clicking on an expired notification in the history should launch or focus the app that sent it

2019-05-17 Thread Nate Graham
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=407667

Bug ID: 407667
Summary: Clicking on an expired notification in the history
should launch or focus the app that sent it
   Product: plasmashell
   Version: 5.15.90

Status: REPORTED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: Notifications
  Assignee: k...@privat.broulik.de
  Reporter: n...@kde.org
CC: plasma-b...@kde.org
  Target Milestone: 1.0

I know we can't have interactive expired notifications (Bug 407361). However,
we do store information about which app sent each notification, so we could at
least make expired notifications in the history launch or focus the sending app
when clicked. This would really help the typical notification workflow where
you go to the history to see what you missed, then go to the app that sent each
one to see everything or complete an action.

[kaddressbook] [Bug 407666] New: Dial phone number with tel:// and sms:// via xdg

OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED

Support for dialing phone numbers from contacts is handled in the Configure
dialog, choosing a program such as Ekiga or Skype. With KDE Connect's tel://
URL handler, most programs on my system can tell my phone to dial a number this
way without extra configuration, including Firefox and Okular.

KAddressBook is an exception, because it seems to require its own configuration
for setting how to dial a number instead of using the mechanism these other
programs utilize.

blurry. My point was that something that's pixel-perfect at 1x or 2x may not be
able to be pixel-perfect at 1.2x.

[krita] [Bug 398959] Chromebook pen works but does not draw (draws in "Tablet Tester"!)

2019-05-17 Thread M.Hilpert
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=398959

Okay, I don't want to bother more. I just made a suggestion for Krita to succed
because there ARE already drawing web apps like

https://sumo.app/paint/en
https://sketch.io/sketchpad/
http://www.copainter.org/picture/90936
https://canvas.apps.chrome/
http://www.sigilmaster.com/
https://aframe.io/a-painter/

which of course cover a fraction of the features of Krita, but already show
that a drawing / paint / sketch application is perfectly possible in a browser.

Adobe is also shifting to browser based graphics apps.

But other than discussing development of Krita from scratch, I just hoped that
the Krita Linux version running on a Debian distribution in ChromeOS could be
fixed for the pen/stylus to work on the canvas - because everything else works
with Krita on such a system.

Especially because the stylus _is_ working on this system on the Krita tablet
tester (but only there and not on the standard canvas/sheet)! I guess it's
probably just a small bug to squash. Never mind.

[krita] [Bug 407661] New: Weird file open failure related to icc profiles?

I restarted Krita. After that it could not open any .kra files I tried. It
threw the same two lines of error for each layer in my file:

Could not load pixel data: reference_images/layers/layer9.
Could not load profile: reference_images/layers/layer9.icc.

The files did contain several reference images, but all of them are standard
sRGB, and all the layers were 16 bit RGB.

Restarted Krita again, and now all files opened properly as expected.

I don't know a reliable way to reproduce this at the moment.

[krita] [Bug 407659] [brush presets] Random switch of brush preset while painting

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=407659

> does it always seem to switch between the same two presets in one session?

The target preset (the one happening by accident) is −I think− the last one I
had when I closed previous Krita. (and so, the first one I had when I opened
the new Krita).

> that saving progress bar was around for an awfully long time, wasn't it?

Yes, all my save does that. [Saving Document:...0%] written during long time,
and then disapearing, no progress bar, no incremental percent written.

> I guess you're sure that there isn't anything in your setup that sends a /
> now and then?
:-) I double checked; no. It doesn't switch the preset I used before the one I
have so it isn't a / action. It is like if Krita load a new fictive device
(like flipping the stylus to eraser... or the mouse). In all case it happens
when the stylus is not touching the canvas. It never happened while I was
painting, but between strokes.

That is quite odd. I wonder if there is any code that saves the last used
preset to the KRA file?

One thought is that the saving is somehow getting the current preset brush in
an incorrect state. Then when painting again the engine tries to grab a preset
and it is grabbing the wrong one.

As far as I see, Falkon is built without Python plug-in for your distribution.
You could ask packages maintainers to enable python3-pyside support for Falkon.
If you want to build it yourself, you need to install "python3-pyside-devel"
and "python3-shiboken-devel" packages.
Good luck!

Hi,
This is a bug happening to me every hours while painting in Krita since a long
time. I consider this bug as my 1st annoyance when painting/drawing with Krita.
I remember talking about since last Sprint in may 2017. It might have born when
Krita became 4.x. Unfortunately I never found a way to reproduce with steps
this bug and I never reported exept on IRC, sprint meetings, etc...

But as the bug happens often, Scott gave me the idea (thanks!) this week to
video capture it. So, I caught one :-) Here under is a first video capture
without audio but captions, followed by a breakdown of the video frame by frame
describing all I can see happening during this switch. It was interesting to
see this happening not in the middle of nowhere, but still unreproducable...
I'm opening this bug report because maybe it will give a hint about what's
happening on your trained eyes:

Video:
==
https://www.peppercarrot.com/extras/videos/2019-05-17_random-preset-switch-bug_investigation-A.mp4
(1min30 - MP4)

Note: captured on krita-4.2.0-alpha-ca5aeb7-x86_64.appimage (a nightly from 2
days ago.) but all 4.x I tested have that.

As I follow this, all imports have been of downloaded files, and not direct
connect. Is it possible a file was once imported to the wrong account, and the
statement key was associated with that account? Is there any way to clear this
pair through the GUI?
(I'm changing status to be sure Thomas notices, since I suspect Dominique
doesn't have an answer to the question of how the info got associated with the
"wrong" account.)
