Currently attempting to open this type of file with Kate returns the following message: The file /MOVIE/BDMV/PLAYLIST/00800.mpls was opened with UTF-8 encoding but contained invalid characters. It is set to read-only mode, as saving might destroy its content. Either reopen the file with the correct encoding chosen or enable the read-write mode again in the tools menu to be able to edit it. Selecting any of the available encodings from the tools menu does not fix the problem. A file encoding query returns: file -bi 00800.mpls application/octet-stream; charset=binary The mpls files in a BD are used to allow the player to know what to play and in what order and are necessary to convert the movie into other formats, for example, mkv. [skrooge] [Bug 412360] All items entered are gone
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=412360 --- Comment #21 from Dave --- Well after the successful installation of 2.20.0 on my wifes computer earlier today this evening l made a back up copy of my current Skrooge files on a removable usb. I verified all was there then took the USB out of my computer.I then proceeded with the process you sent (below) to remove the program and reinstall however when completed l still had the 2.15.0 version.I then thought of all the previous attempts and different formats l had previously tried to update the program. I had downloaded flatpac, tar balls and the PPA's you had given me months ago and l began to think that maybe there was still a hidden version somewhere on the computer that it kept loading giving me the 2.15.0 again.I then removed all of the files in my computer that had any connection to the Skrooge program..removed all previous back ups, any files stored in Documents, checked my Download files, User files Temp files and could not locate any more Skrooge related files.I then proceed to once again follow the instructions you had provided and when completed the Skrooge program was still there in the 2.15.0 version all intact with my files still in place.I was assuming it would have resulted in a clean install with a blank document to which l was going to add the files l had saved onto the USB.I am so frustrated after having the installation go so well on my wifes computer. What can you suggest that l do to remove all traces of the 2.15.0 ? Is there possibly a complete system scan that l can perform to find any files that may be hidden deeper in the computer?I can continue with my daily business using my wifes computer but that would be inconvenient for both of us.Dave On Wednesday, October 9, 2019, 10:02:37 a.m. EDT, Stephane MANKOWSKI wrote: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=412360 --- Comment #13 from Stephane MANKOWSKI --- Oups, my fault: You just have to do that: sudo apt remove skrooge* sudo add-apt-repository ppa:s-mankowski/ppa-kf5 sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get install skrooge-kf5 -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=412794 Tymond changed: What|Removed |Added CC||tamtamy.tym...@gmail.com --- Comment #1 from Tymond --- Hi, could you please make a separate bug reports for every individual issue you have? All "please add options like in PS" wishes can be in one, but all issues like freeze or where do you need to click must be in separate reports and separately from the wishes. That way it's much easier for developers - they take one report, fix it and mark it fixed :) Then take another report, fix it and voila, you have two issues fixed :) You can use this report to mention one issue and make new bug reports for all other issue mentioned in your desciption. [krita] [Bug 412794] New: Can't select Text to edit it
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=412794 Bug ID: 412794 Summary: Can't select Text to edit it Product: krita Version: 4.2.5 Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: Tool/Text Assignee: krita-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: benstrothm...@mac.com Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY I'm editing an old poster from a saved template of mine. I'm clicking on a text layer with the text tool. It won't select. Therefore I can't click "Edit Text" in the Tool Options. Often when I try to click on the text layer (with the text tool) I have to click just a little beneath and off to the left literally OFF the text layer, but there will be the actual text box that corresponds to the final layer. As long as I'm talking about editing text, two last things: - Very often, if I try to copy-paste text into the Text Edit window, as soon as I click on Save/Apply, the program will freeze and crash on me. - Lastly, I appreciate that in the text Tool Options I can customize the character spacing. But in Photoshop there are sooo many more options. Small Caps, supertext, subtext, and most imporantly (for my anyway), Paragraph Style editing so I can adjust the Line Spacing!! I'd love to be able to create one block of text and bunch the lines of text closer together... but instead I have to create them as two separate layers. Thanks for your help! I love what you guys are doing! STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. 2. 3. https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=412778 --- Comment #4 from caulier.gil...@gmail.com --- libjack must not been included in AppImage bundle as it depend too much of hardware intalled on the target system. Just install the library on your system and this will solve the problem. Gilles Caulier -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=384051 Jack changed: What|Removed |Added CC||ostroffjh@users.sourceforge ||.net --- Comment #6 from Jack --- (In reply to Ralf Habacker from comment #5) Not related to the bug itself, but that translation should be "Save password while app is running." (You could also say "Save password until app stops running" but that is more awkward.) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
