[krita] [Bug 416515] Krita cannot save if file contains reference images

I am still on 1.6; it seems that 1.7 might be more strict than 1.6. * If might also be a problem with Qt 5.14... I am still on 5.12, because already 5.13 caused a host of regressions. [digikam] [Bug 416516] New: Read/Write .mov and .mp4 rating metadata
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=416516 Bug ID: 416516 Summary: Read/Write .mov and .mp4 rating metadata Product: digikam Version: 6.4.0 Platform: MS Windows OS: MS Windows Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: Metadata-Video Assignee: digikam-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: tims_t...@hotmail.com Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY Windows can natively add a rating to mov and mp4 video files through the file properties details window. It is stored in a QuickTime Tag called SharedUserRating. 5 stars = 99, 4 stars = 75, 3 stars = 50, 2 stars = 25, 1 star = 0. Exiftool cannot write to this tag (as of 20/1/2020), but can read it with the following command. exiftool -SharedUserRating This rating is useful at the File Manager level for searches. It would be good if DigiKam read this and added it to its database, and even better if it could write it. Another rating tag for mov/mp4 files that would be useful to make use of is the xmp rating tag that Adobe Bridge can read and write. exiftool can read and write this. exiftool "-xmp:rating" exiftool "-xmp:rating=5" Again DigiKam does not read this, but would be good if it did. Mov/Mp4 video files are still being produced by phones and cameras everywhere. Ideally DigiKam would be able to read and write both these rating tags to the metadata of mov/mp4 files for consistency and interoperability. It would not surprise me if the Mac OS can natively edit the SharedUserRating tag too. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Set rating on mov/mp4 video file via Windows property 2. Add the file to DigiKam 3. Star rating is not read by DigiKam, nor is updated by DigiKam. OBSERVED RESULT Star rating is not read by DigiKam, nor is updated by DigiKam. EXPECTED RESULT DigiKam updates Rating metadata. [frameworks-kiconthemes] [Bug 402172] Compiling against Qt 5.12 breaks QIcon::themeName with Plasma platform plugin
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=402172 --- Comment #8 from Kevin Kofler --- Is there anybody here who can answer my question: Should the Plasma platform plugin call QIconLoader::updateSystemTheme()? Or should this maybe even be done somewhere within Qt itself (after loading a platform plugin?), as hinted at in https://bugreports.qt.io/browse/QTBUG-74252 ? We need SOME way to fix this, sooner rather than later (this completely breaks theming in some applications and it has been open for over a year!), and the obvious fix (reverting the KIconThemes addition) does not look like the correct fix to me. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

Thanks for a quick reply! I don't have a button for deleting a collection or for changing the UUID. Just a white line with the name of the collection. I searched for the delete button in the docs, and if I hover the mouse around at that location on the white line, I see a pair of "phantom" blue squares while hovering, but no tool text or anything. I presume these are the missing buttons. Perhaps grabbing 6.2.0 from Nixpkgs has left me without icons for those buttons. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=414117 --- Comment #6 from Geoff King --- Hi . Yes I'm still having problems with this. It is difficult to work in Full-Screen mode when going into and out of Image Editor. Trying this with the latest package "digiKam-7.0.0-beta2-20200120T075420-MacOS-x86-64" I have not seen the transparent window with this version, but I still do get stuck in the image editor and cannot intuitively close it. How to get out of Full-Screen Image Editor un-successfully: From Image Editor, click the Close Editor button. The window minimizes, but stays on the image editor and the Close Editor button does nothing. Then must close Digikam since no other options work. Similar scenario if click the large tab at the top right that corresponds do the Image Editor. If click the large tab at the top left that corresponds do the Thumbnail view, then all Digikam quits. The only way to get out of Full-Screen Image Editor successfully is to first close full-screen: From Image Editor, Exit Fullscreen button, Close Editor Button. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
