[digikam] [Bug 414055] Port Slideshow tool to plugin architecture
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=414055 Maik Qualmann changed: What|Removed |Added CC||metzping...@gmail.com --- Comment #2 from Maik Qualmann --- You need a DPluginAction for infoIface() as a parent, so you don't get an interface here. We could build a connection to a DInfoInterface, but you could also just check the objectName() from the parent, whether it is "Digikam" or "Showfoto" or "Image Editor" to know if albums are possible. However, the SlideShowBuilder definitely needs a DInfoInterface. Instead of the QAction* you have to use DPluginAction*, then fetching the DInfoInterface works via sender(). [frameworks-qqc2-desktop-style] [Bug 404604] Framerate decreases to 15 while cursor is moved on GUI elements that generate an animation
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=404604 --- Comment #8 from grouchomarx...@gmail.com --- It seems that my bug 409035 concerns QtQuick apps and the fact that they are using Opengl to render everything. They make my Ironlake GPU hit 100% very easily. If I force the software backend, the desktop is fluid again. It is very likely that my GPU is too weak. But it may also come from the apps, QtQuick, or the driver. I am not sure how to debug this. In the meantime, I am using QT_QUICK_BACKEND=software as a workaround. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

Believe it or not, the Sensor Browser had never shown up since I installed Plasma two years ago on Arch Linux, until I read your comment. This may be the most annoying UX issue I've experienced in Plasma. In fact, Sensor Browser itself isn't referenced from anywhere in the program except for the context help, which makes it not helpful at all. It's as if the Sensor Browser didn't even exist. Even if the interface is not intuitive, a 'Show Sensor Browser' toggle in the Settings menu (or even in the Keyboard Shortcuts editor) would have allowed us to forcibly make it show up. [lattedock] [Bug 410407] [wayland - upstream] - Latte Dock 0.9 Is faulty auto-hiding with the cursor on it after a second
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=410407 --- Comment #9 from Alberto Díaz López --- (In reply to Michail Vourlakos from comment #6) > is it possible to check if this still possible with master version? Yeah, sure. I just downloaded the code from the GitHub mirror, installed it and it looks like it's still the same (or maybe Latte Dock needs a relaunch). But, if i'm doing it right, the bug still persists. I still have the version that Arch Linux packages (currently, still 0.9.8.1, so i'm not sure if i'm doing anything wrong to run the master one). I would be grateful if you provide me information if i'm doing right or not, and if not, how could i do it the right way. Thank you very much. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[systemsettings] [Bug 415364] Many touchpad settings are missing.
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=415364 Neil Rickert changed: What|Removed |Added CC||nwr10cst-os...@yahoo.com --- Comment #2 from Neil Rickert --- This still seems a bug to me. The setting that I am missing is "Disable touchpad when a mouse is plugged in". In all honesty, that setting is why I started using KDE. And that worked for me with openSUSE Leap 15.0 and Leap 15.1 (both using Plasma 5.12.8 and the Libinput drivers). But the setting is no longer available with openSUSE Leap 15.2 Beta (using Plasma 5.18.0). However, it still works if I copy ".config/touchpadrc" from an earlier system. I really hope that this setting isn't going away. And I hope we can get back a way of configuring it via system settings. Here's a strange thing. On one laptop, I see the old touchpad settings screen. That laptop was originally configured with openSUSE Leap 15.0, then upgraded. However, if I create a new user on that same computer, then I get the new touchpad settings screen with some settings no longer visible. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[krita] [Bug 418230] New: Feb 25th and 26th Nightly appimages start then close
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=418230 Bug ID: 418230 Summary: Feb 25th and 26th Nightly appimages start then close Product: krita Version: nightly build (please specify the git hash!) Platform: Debian stable OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: Usability Assignee: krita-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: ahab.greybe...@hotmail.co.uk Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY The Feb 25th and 26th 4.3.0 prealpha appimages, git e1278c5 and git 5619916 start and display the splash screen with start-up progress messages but then vanish and there is no running application. They get as far as 'Loading Main Window' before disappearing shortly after that status message is displayed. (The corresponding Windows portable .zip packages run ok.) The Feb 21st 4.3.0 prealpha git 2b45b5d does run ok and is the latest one I have before the failing ones. I note that the Feb 25th and Feb 26th appimages are 202.5 MB compared to the Feb 21st being 186.7 MB as reported by my file manager. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION The Nightly (and Stable) appimage downloads have a long standing problem where I have to download them as a document in a browser tab (taking many minutes) and then Save the resulting 'document' as a file. This is an inconvenience but I've managed to get these appimages for a long time now and they always ran after downloading and saving. The Windows downloads do not have this problem. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
