Fix Lab channel render in canvas and Channels docker This moves the channel rendering code to a KoColorSpace function named convertChannelToVisualRepresentation, implemented in KoColorSpaceAbstract and overriden in Lab colorspaces. This function now handles copying channel values and, where necessary, renormalizes it so as to fit the valid channel range (as with Lab). As a bonus, I also fixed scaleToU8 in Lab because it needed the same renormalization procedure. Thanks to Wolthera for the initial pseudopatch -- the missing part was the canvas code. [kwin] [Bug 417566] Bouncing when changing virtual desktop through touchpad scroll
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=417566 --- Comment #3 from David Edmundson --- Investigated. We haven't changed anything our side. Scrolling momentum is being faked at a lower level. angleDelta and pixelDelta keep being sent after a physical scroll finishes which adds up and goes psycho. We don't have QWheelEvent::phase() data which would be ideal for detecting these fake events. At best, I can bodge it by checking for pixelDelta and setting a different target to trigger the action, but it's not a proper fix and that could break setups without the fake scrolls. Which means I'm stuck. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

Well, just for comparison: 23 konqueror processes running on my machine in 4 activities just now - no mess of settings. But that's the wrong discussion anyway (at least with me as counterpart). I consider it a bug that the nowadays main/default browser of KDE applications does not support activities. The way how this lacking can be changed is beyond my scope/expertise. > A bit crazy workaround I can think of is using different profiles for each > activity, in such case there would be new process created. > > > falkon -r -p That's the way activityfox works (well, more or less) for chromium and firefox. One profile/activity. But s. https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=396291#c2 - this has several flaws. And does not work for Falkon: Start activity, execute "falkon -r -p test" (BTW: I don't like the idea of having to repeat all my configuration work for every new profile from scratch), stop activity, start activity - the restored Falkon window belongs to the default profile, not to "test". -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

PlasmaQuick::Dialog registers PlasmaQuick::DialogPrivate::updateInputShape() as the slot for QWindow::visibleChanged(bool). 2. QWindow d'tor calls QWindowPrivate::setVisible(false) (through QWindowPrivate::destroy()), which will in turn signal QWindow::visibleChanged(bool). 3. PlasmaQuick::DialogPrivate::updateInputShape() gets called after PlasmaQuick::Dialog had already run and released the DialogPrivate reference (and apparently zeroed it out?) and calls back into PlasmaQuick::Dialog::isVisible() 4. When isVisible() tries to access DialogPrivate back, the pointer is already zero and we get SIGSEGVED The attached defensive patch works around the problem for me (a bit - I did get one crash after it, but I didn't get a stack trace - so it may not be the same). This is obviously not the correct approach. Maybe unregister from the signals during d'tor? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[kmymoney] [Bug 418479] New: Posting historical investment transactions causes crash
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=418479 Bug ID: 418479 Summary: Posting historical investment transactions causes crash Product: kmymoney Version: 5.0.5 Platform: openSUSE RPMs OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: crash Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: kmymoney-de...@kde.org Reporter: vanques...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY I frequently "catch up" with posting my investment transactions at the end of the month and that sometimes involves creating new securities for transactions that happened earlier in the month. This hasn't caused a problem before Now, posting investment transactions dated prior to a Security's/Equity's Opening_Date (kmmAccounts.openingDate) (which does not appear to be user definable) causes kmmoney to crash consistently. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Create an new Investment Security as normal 2. Post an Investment transaction (Buy) with a date prior to today's date (i.e. the security's creation date) OBSERVED RESULT Kmymoney crashes EXPECTED RESULT Transaction should post as normal SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: 5.12.8 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.55.0 and 5.45.0 Qt Version: 5.9.7 and 5.9.4 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Posting the same transaction using today's date or later is successful. By saving the data in a SQL database and then amending the security's kmmAccounts.openingDate to a time earlier than the transaction date allows the transaction to be posted without problem. kmymoney is otherwise brilliant! -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[frameworks-kio] [Bug 417806] Open/Save File dialogs do not adhere to current directory modification
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=417806 --- Comment #2 from Lastique --- (In reply to Ahmad Samir from comment #1) > Well, if you type a path and don't press Enter then for all intents and > purposes you're still in the same dir... Yes, and that is a problem. As I described in the bug description, the effect of pressing Enter is ambiguous. Therefore I'm asking to update the directory on focus loss. > You could type the path in the Name: box /path/to/wherever/file.txt and > it'll save the file there. Right, that's my current workaround. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[krita] [Bug 418476] svg transform for selected object doesnt work
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=418476 Ahab Greybeard changed: What|Removed |Added CC||ahab.greybe...@hotmail.co.u ||k Resolution|--- |WAITINGFORINFO Status|REPORTED|NEEDSINFO --- Comment #1 from Ahab Greybeard --- For Step 1, I assume you mean add a vector layer. For Step 4. You select a vector object using the Select Shapes tool (the Toolbox icon looks like an arrow). For Step 5. Having selected a vector object, you then transform it using the 'handles' on the box that surrounds it. https://docs.krita.org/en/user_manual/vector_graphics.html?highlight=vector#editing-shapes For Step 4, it may be that you used the 'dotted line' region selection tools instead. Can you please review and confirm this and set to RESOLVED NOT A BUG if so? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[plasmashell] [Bug 418316] Plasma desktop completely crashes
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=418316 Oded Arbel changed: What|Removed |Added Ever confirmed|0 |1 Summary|Taskbar is crashing after |Plasma desktop completely |startup |crashes Version|5.17.5 |master Status|REPORTED|CONFIRMED --- Comment #4 from Oded Arbel --- In case it wasn't very clear, the problem is that the plasmashell processes crashes and the entire desktop UX is gone. On my system (Kubuntu with KCI stable) there is some kind of auto-restart thing going on that tries to restart plasmashell 5 times, and sometimes it manages to run for maybe a minute before it crashes again with the same SIGSEGV in PlasmaQuick::Dialog::isVisible(). After a few restarts it gives up. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=417614 S. Christian Collins changed: What|Removed |Added Status|REPORTED|RESOLVED Resolution|--- |NOT A BUG --- Comment #2 from S. Christian Collins --- Turns out this bug was introduced with an NVIDIA driver update that enabled "Allow Flipping" in the OpenGL settings. Disabling "Allow Flipping" restores the full 120 Hz framerate to my primary monitor, so this is not a Kwin issue. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
