https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=375938 Frederick Yin changed: What|Removed |Added CC||fakef...@protonmail.ch --- Comment #4 from Frederick Yin --- Made some study on this: `Scan` has no shortcut, because S is mapped to Settings, C is Close, A is About, and N is Contrast when a contrast option is present. Today I noticed that Dolphin would sometimes hang for a few seconds while showing a blank terminal panel. I then disabled neofetch thinking that the terminal was having trouble loading neofetch, but the crashes continued. I also disabled powerline shell in my .bashrc, but that did not help either. - Unusual behavior I noticed: Dolphin would crash almost immediately after launching. Dolphin would launch normally on the second or third attempt to relaunch it. After disabling neofetch and powerline shell in my .bashrc I noticed that Dolphin would work normally every time after turning off the terminal panel - Custom settings of the application: Terminal panel enabled, Powerline shell and Neofetch enabled in .bashrc The crash can be reproduced every time. -- Backtrace: Application: Dolphin (dolphin), signal: Segmentation fault Using host libthread_db library "/usr/lib/libthread_db.so.1". Otherwise, you wouldn't be able to keep the > existing behaviour. This requires the counterintuitive process of clicking elsewhere in the window before maximizing. Most of the times the user may not even realize that the window is not on focus in the first place, so the user cannot do that until it's too late (perhaps this is not usually the case for the default breeze decoration, but for most other themes, the difference between active and inactive windows is much more subtle). Furthermore, your response seems to recognize that current behavior may be a feature worth keeping, but I fail to see a use case for maximazing a window that appears below others.
