https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=420232 Bug ID: 420232 Summary: Unexpected confirmation window after switch from "Fonts" section Product: systemsettings Version: 5.18.4 Platform: Manjaro OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Keywords: regression Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: kcm_fonts Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org Reporter: pv...@mailforspam.com Target Milestone: --- Created attachment 127631 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=127631&action=edit TUI log SUMMARY Unexpected confirmation window after switch from "Fonts" section if to change nothing. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open system settings window (TUI: systemsettings5). 2. Go to "Fonts" section. Change nothing at all. 3. Go to any other section. As example in attached file log I switched to "Colours" section. OBSERVED RESULT Confirmation window appears: Title: "Apply settings - System settings" Text: "The settings of the current module have changed. Do you want to apply the changes or discard them?" Options: Apply / Discard / Cancel EXPECTED RESULT No any confirmation window cause I dis not introduce any change, only current section switching. ADDITIONALLY If to apply that unknown changes, then after entering "Fonts" section again and to try to leave that section w/ no change the confirmation windows appears again. I saw it in 5.18.3 version, now see in 5.18.4. I see that lack constantly for several weeks. Reproduction rate for me is 100%. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: Manjaro Linux 19.0.2, stable branch, up-to-date. But instead it causes UI glitches. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Switch to Outline Selection Tool. 2. Draw a curve, but don't close the outline 3. Holding Cmd. 4. Click on canvas. OBSERVED RESULT It does nothing but glitches the UI. See attachment. EXPECTED RESULT A straight segment should be added to the current unfinished selection outline. [kwin] [Bug 395725] Blur effect applied for aurorae decoration shadows
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=395725 Ossama Nasser changed: What|Removed |Added CC||ossn...@gmail.com --- Comment #25 from Ossama Nasser --- I have Manjaro KDE : Operating System: Manjaro Linux KDE Plasma Version: 5.18.4 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.68.0 Qt Version: 5.14.2 Kernel Version: 5.6.3-2-MANJARO OS Type: 64-bit Processors: 4 × Intel® Core™ i7-4500U CPU @ 1.80GHz Memory: 7.7 GiB of RAM I can confirm this problem is present and it happens because of the "Blur Strength" component of the blur effect: Many new themes have a blur in the panel which I really hate, therefor I try to reduce it as much as possible, the best way I found is to increase the value of the "Blur Strength" component of the blur effect, however this causes the rounded corners of a theme to have a pointy non-transparent effect it the corners of the aurorae theme is rounded. By reducing the value of "blur strength" the effect is reduced but also the the blured components becomes more transparent -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

SUMMARY This crash looks very different from https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=420032 so I'm filing a separate report. It happened when I have a selection on the canvas and pressed Cmd+D to deselect it. Krita semi-froze for several seconds. During the period I can select a different layer or switch tools, but the canvas was completely frozen. Then Krita crashed. The stack trace looks different from Bug 420032 too. STEPS TO REPRODUCE Unable to consistently reproduce. OBSERVED RESULT Crash EXPECTED RESULT Not crash, and selection should be deselected. Most icons are small enough that I don't think they should be even smaller. However the vector shapes handles are too big and created in such a way that makes it very hard to move small objects. To move the object, user needs to click inside the handles or on the red handle. If the object is small, the handles to resize the object take too much space so it's not possible to move the object. I wasn't sure if I should mark is as a bug or a wish. It isn't necessarily a "doesn't work" situation, but it is an issue for me and it doesn't ask for a new feature. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Create a new vector shape. Can be a circle. 2. Zoom out a bit. In my case, it stops being any useful at the point when the circle is a bit bigger than the toolbar icons. More precisely: canvas is 1024x1024, circle 110x110px, "Use same aspects as pixels" is pressed/turned on, and I have trouble already at 67%, it's getting nearly impossible at 50%, and it only contains handles at 33% (and here it is impossible: I was trying to find the correct pixel to click on, but no, it always showed the resize icon, never the hand one). Note that in case of 50% and 67%, moving the same object is possible with the Transform Tool if it's converted to the paint layer or if the vector layer only contains that one object. OBSERVED RESULT Very hard to move the vector object, even though it's really not that small. EXPECTED RESULT Moving small vector objects is only impossible when they are really, really small. https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=416760 Carl Love changed: What|Removed |Added Status|CONFIRMED |RESOLVED Resolution|--- |FIXED --- Comment #6 from Carl Love --- The attchement was commited. commit 6f8920fd8f9381cf75f5dd0c3c65ac5d86c0a537 Author: Carl Love Date: Fri Feb 21 17:22:26 2020 -0600 PPC64, fix for alignment of the rt_sigframe data structure. The PPC64 implementation checks that the data structure is aligned. The changes in commit listed below breaks the alignment. This patch adds an explicit alignment directive to ensure the data structure is allocated with the required alignment. This fixes 31 stderr failures, 10 stdout failures on the Power 7, Power 8 and Power 9 platforms.
