https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=420715 caulier.gil...@gmail.com changed: What|Removed |Added CC||caulier.gil...@gmail.com --- Comment #2 from caulier.gil...@gmail.com --- Maik, For info, the most updated upstream fril from Exiv2 about HEIf support is this one : https://github.com/Exiv2/exiv2/pull/978 How did you interpret the last comment from this thread ? HEIF will be supported with Exiv2 0.27.3 or not ? I'm following all discussions from Exiv2 team about HEIF support, and it's become i real mess... They talk about patents problem where no problem exists with HEIF format. Only encoding image with H265 codec is patented (this is why i don't include libx265 source code in HEIF dplugin. HEIF format is open, decoding h265 is not patented at all. extracting metadata is not a problem too.. For me HEIF support is a big major feature to support and improve in digiKam. [krita] [Bug 420838] New: Paste at last copied position, or top-left corner
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=420838 Bug ID: 420838 Summary: Paste at last copied position, or top-left corner Product: krita Version: unspecified Platform: MS Windows OS: MS Windows Status: REPORTED Severity: wishlist Priority: NOR Component: Usability Assignee: krita-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: tapatilore...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY Instead of pasting in the center of the image with the drawn origin at the center of the image, it would be much more enabling to record the coordinates, relative to the image, of the top-left corner of the selection's bounding box when copying an image in Krita (clamped to canvas bounds). Then, if those coordinates exist, paste the image at that spot with the drawn origin at the top-left corner. If no coordinates exist, paste at (0,0) instead of the center of the image. The other two behaviors (paste at cursor and paste in center) should be left as alternatives with this "smart paste" behavior as the default (i.e. mapped to Ctrl+V). Note that this copy/paste behavior isn't different between images -- if multiple images are open in Krita, and the user copies a rectangle starting from position (10,16), switches to an image with different dimensions and pastes, the pasted image should still be at position (10,16) even if it's outside the canvas at that point. Smart pasting works marvelously for some other software paint programs. I recommend having it as default behavior. Thoughts? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

Committed on 01/05/2020 at 01:06. Pushed by mwein into branch 'master'. Fix Brush HUD width adjustment This time hopefully for real. There are two issues to bypass: 1) Layouts don't just instantly calculate new dimension as you modify them, it would be way too expensive, so Qt has a delayed pass for that in the event loop. So we need to wait until this has happened for the properties layout before resizing. 2) QScrollArea has a pretty broken sizeHint() implementation. It will just not give us a useful size that we could use. See also QTBUG-76256 and QTBUG-58447 The most sane solution I could come up with is to install the HUD widget as event filter for the content widget of the scroll area, and catch the LayoutRequest event. This event gets sent by the layout to the parent widget to indicate its new dimension are now available. This is what Q(Abstract)ScrollArea does internally anyway, so even fixing the sizeHint and waiting for the event to trigger again on the outer layout just costs another loop iteration and results in multiple screen updates. Since we need to adjust the width a few levels up, we need to calculate the margins our self, but the layout is not overly complex luckily. [plasmashell] [Bug 420635] Apps that autostart do not appear in the system tray, including DiscoverNotifier
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=420635 --- Comment #14 from Konrad Materka --- > Maybe something is happening when SDDM launches Plasma? It may be that KDE is started in a different way, but I'm not an expert in this area. I was not able to reproduce this issue, I'm using exactly the same distribution. KDE Neon is popular among KDE developers, someone else would notice already, so it seems that this problem is very rare. We have another similar Bug 385828, so it is not that rare that you are the only one affected :) In that context, I would like to ask you for more help, but firstly I need to explain few technical aspects so that we will get as useful data as possible. System tray contains two type of items: * Plasmoids - these are not real applications, but embedded widgets, for example: Bluetooth, Network, Volume etc. You can recognize them by two things: in setting of System Tray they have disabled option and usually on click they show some panel, instead of menu. * SNI (Status Notifier Item) icons - all external applications like Skype, Dropbox, Discord, Telegram etc. It looks that the problem is with SNI icons - plasmoids are working fine. There is also a special case for SNI icons: legacy tray icons used by some old old application like KeePass2, Pidgin, xchat and all Windows application run with wine. The xembedsniproxy is used to translate legacy icons to SNI protocol. SNI icons are register in DBus service named "org.kde.StatusNotifierWatcher" - that's why I asked you to run "qdbus org.kde.StatusNotifierWatcher /StatusNotifierWatcher RegisteredStatusNotifierItems" - to list all icons IDs registered in that DBus service. The listIcons.sh scripts uses these IDs and just prints more information. In the situation you have, when icons are missing entirely but corresponding applications are running in the background, DBus service should not have them as well. This is the most important information to confirm first: is DBus service running and if it has or not icons registered. In your second comment, after running listIcons.sh, you received this error: "org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.NoReply: Did not receive a reply. Possible causes include: the remote application did not send a reply, the message bus security policy blocked the reply, the reply timeout expired, or the network connection was broken.". This is especially worrying and strange... You then posted this: "The error message is from NetworkManager. I accidentally had it disabled when". Can you give more details how did you disable NetworkManager? Can you reproduce the same situation again? Disabling Network Manager should not affect DBus, did you do anything else? Maybe it is related to your VPN configuration? [krita] [Bug 420825] I eliminate color pixels and the saving I am forced to pick a pixel color
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=420825 --- Comment #5 from Tymond --- Can you please make a screenshot of your Krita window before saving (so I can see the image with transparency (removed background) inside Krita) and then another one when you are asked about PNG settings? (First you're asked for the name of the file, and then there are settings, I mean the dialog with settings). And you can share the result PNG image as well. (If you don't want to share your image, you can create a new one with some random strokes, what's important is just the transparency). -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

If one page mode is selected this is not a problem and works normally. I verified the problem with at least .pdf and .djvu files.
