[valgrind] [Bug 372347] Replacement problem of the additional c++14/c++17 new and delete operators
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=372347 --- Comment #22 from Paul Floyd --- Filtering out the free was enough to get the test to pass on the 3 OSes that I tested on [Linux, Solaris and FreeBSD]. You are right that it is not necessary for the test, and I'll add malloc to the filter. I want to keep the prereq because in theory someone could be building with a very old GCC that does not support -fsized-deallocation. The test is currently amd64 specific. The signature includes size_t, which is a synonym for unsigned int on x86 (_ZdlPvj) and unsigned long on amd64 (_ZdlPvm). That's for the scalar form of delete, there's also the array form with the same difference. I'll move it up to memcheck/tests and add an x86 expected. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[kwin] [Bug 428817] New: org.kde.KWin is not unregistered properly on logout
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=428817 Bug ID: 428817 Summary: org.kde.KWin is not unregistered properly on logout Product: kwin Version: unspecified Platform: Fedora RPMs OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: platform-x11-standalone Assignee: kwin-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: shng...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Use Xrdp to connect to Fedora 33, starting KDE 2. use `busctl --user monitor org.kde.KWin` 3. in plasma-workspace-5.19.5/startkde/startplasma.cpp, in function startPlasmaSession(), add one line `serviceWatcher.addWatchedService(QStringLiteral("org.kde.KWin"));` to make startplasma won't quit till org.kde.KWin is unregistered. 4. click "log out" in KDE 5. busctl process ends, last message is org.freedesktop.DBus.Local.Disconnected OBSERVED RESULT startkde (actually startplasma_x11) doesn't exit at all, as org.kde.KWin is *never* unregistered. `busctl --usr list` won't find any org.kde.KWin service. EXPECTED RESULT Unregistration of org.kde.KWin is properly called and startkde properly exits. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: Fedora 33/plasma-workspace-5.19.5 (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: plasma-workspace-5.19.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.75.0-1.fc33 Qt Version: 5.15.1-5.fc3 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION I am debugging it for the past week. I still cannot figure out org.freedesktop.DBus.Local.Disconnected is signalled before unregistration. I can keep digging into this issue, but I need some help to understand this part. [krita] [Bug 428816] New: pen pressure works on other programs but not krita
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=428816 Bug ID: 428816 Summary: pen pressure works on other programs but not krita Product: krita Version: 4.4.1 Platform: unspecified OS: Microsoft Windows Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: Brush Engine/Shape Assignee: krita-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: alex22v...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY The pen pressure will not work on krita BUT will work for other applications making it seem as though it is a bug within the program itself. I have also tried to turn on and off the pen pressure settings within krita with no results. I'm not sure if its because krita is incompatible with what I'm using. I'm using the "HP ENVY x360" laptop with a "Wacom Bamboo Ink 2nd Gen Smart Stylus" OBSERVED RESULT pen will successfully apply pen pressure in other programs but fail to do so in krita EXPECTED RESULT pen and or laptop is incompatible with krita SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: macOS: Linux/KDE Plasma: (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: KDE Frameworks Version: Qt Version: ADDITIONAL INFORMATION I'm using a touchscreen laptop with a smart pen add-on and not a plug in tablet like most people. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. create a new document 2. add a paint layer and draw something on it (do not fill the entire image) 3. go to "Layer" -> "Transform" -> "Scale Layer to new Size" 4. change size unit to "%" OBSERVED RESULT The percentage value is the ratio of the layer size to the image size. EXPECTED RESULT The percentage value is the ratio of layer after scaling to the original layer size (default value is 100%).
