https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=435492 --- Comment #5 from Duncan <1i5t5.dun...@cox.net> --- (In reply to Nate Graham from comment #4) > What do you mean by popout mode exactly? I don't see any scroll behavior at > all on the applet's view on Wayland. Maybe that's the bug. :) I was wondering what to call it and popout mode is the best I came up with, hoping the meaning would be self-evident given it was specified (as opposed to normal display mode which there'd be no need to specify), but "self-evident" it obviously wasn't. What I mean is the center-click/center-button-click mode where it pops out the comic by itself (well, with a drop-shadow) into the center of the screen at original comic resolution (the config checkbox label says "Middle-click on comic to display at original size", but doesn't mention that it pops out into a separate window in the middle of the screen). Fine when the comic resolution is below that of the screen. When it's not, scrolling is supposed to be possible, and it works on X, but on wayland, at least with a touchpad, not so much. (If it matters the touchpad is an original Logitech t650 (wireless rechargable, using the same USB unifying receiver as my Logitech wireless keyboard), which wikipedia says came out in 2012, matching my feeling that I'd been using it nearly a decade. [frameworks-kglobalaccel] [Bug 435420] kglobalaccel5 autostarts in LXQt too, when it shouldn't
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=435420 --- Comment #9 from prash --- (In reply to prash from comment #8) After a bit of triangulating, it appears that merely opening a KDE app will not autostart kglobalaccel5. On a fresh session, when I opened Okular, there were no processes that were out of the ordinary. However, the moment I did a File->Open or File->Open Recent from there, I got something like this: 12590 /usr/lib/kactivitymanagerd 12599 /usr/bin/kglobalaccel5 Of course, dolphin starts these processes too. Again, on fresh sessions, KCalc, KCharSelect, KDiff3, Kompare did not trigger kactivitymanagerd or kglobalaccel5, even after performing a File->Open or an equivalent. I have no idea why both dolphin and okular would repeatably trigger these. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[plasma-nm] [Bug 435561] Cannot specify usergroup for OpenConnect VPNs
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=435561 --- Comment #1 from akb825 --- After looking through the code, it looks like it *is* trying to parse the group from the gateway. However, attempting to do this fails to connect. No error is reported in the UI, it simply closes the dialog and isn't connected to the VPN. When viewing the log from journalctl, openconnect reported the error "Pulse authentication cookie not accepted". Using the exact same URL (copy/pasted to avoid typos) works with the openconnect command in a terminal. I additionally found that you can set an "xmlconfig" element in vpn-secrets section with a base64 XML configuration. https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=421743 akb825 changed: What|Removed |Added Resolution|--- |NOT A BUG Status|REPORTED|RESOLVED --- Comment #1 from akb825 --- >From what I can tell, the method of specifying the connection has changed in the VPN itself. The realm was passed as a form parameter previously, which was able to be parsed to create a combo box in the UI. However, this is now provided with the usergroup parameter rather than the form. In other words, the information to display the UI is no longer being passed when connecting, and the usergroup parameter must be passed explicitly instead. Unfortunately there appears to be no way to actually set the usergroup, so I'm still stuck unable to choose the "tunnel-all" connection type. For example, my company provides a "default" connection, which routes specific domains through the VPN, and a "tunnel-all" connection, which routes all traffic. Typically the usergroup would be specified by the URL. For example, https://vpn.mycompany.com/tunnel-all. When using the openconnect command-line, you can use the "--usergroup=tunnel-all" command-line option. Attempting to pass the usergroup to the gateway address (e.g. vpn.mycompany.com/tunnel-all) fails, since it expects it to only be a hostname. [Breeze] [Bug 435558] New: Allow different gtk theme per application
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=435558 Bug ID: 435558 Summary: Allow different gtk theme per application Product: Breeze Version: 5.21.4 Platform: Archlinux Packages OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: wishlist Priority: NOR Component: gtk theme Assignee: uhh...@gmail.com Reporter: bednarczyk.pa...@outlook.com CC: plasma-b...@kde.org Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY Currently, the GNOME/GTK application style applies to all applications. It would be useful to select a theme per application. For example, certain GTK applications such as vmware horizon client require the default style to look half-decent. See here: https://docs.vmware.com/en/VMware-Horizon-Client-for-Linux/2103/rn/horizon-client-linux-2103-release-notes.html#knownissues Because Horizon Client for Linux uses the Linux operating system's GNOME theme, the Horizon Client for Linux authentication domain list, the desktop/application protocol list, and display list appear black on some of the Linux operating systems, making it difficult to read any of these lists. Workaround: Change the GNOME theme used by the Linux operating system. For example, on an Ubuntu system, install gnome-tweak-tool if it is not yet installed, run gnome-tweak-tool, and change the GTK+ theme from Ambiance to Radiance. On the other hand the default style looks silly with other GTK apps which do support dark themes. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

Finally, it turned out that if Krusader is used to enter any rar archive, its files are seen with the aforementioned time and date and then uncompressing those files leaves them with that time and date. STEPS TO REPRODUCE Use Krusader to enter a rar file, like: - https://defsol.com/ftp/abs/fddev230.rar (with files from the year 1997) - https://es.osdn.net/frs/g_redir.php?m=jaist&f=dockit%2FOldFiles%2Fsample.rar (with files from 2000 and 2005) - https://dubhe.workupload.com/download/zMR4vIPW(with files from 2015 and 2016) and see the same (wrong) date and time.
