[krunner] [Bug 438388] Krunner still shows duplicate entry after 5.22 update
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=438388 --- Comment #10 from Nishith Khanna --- An update for the adaptive panel it works now with KDE frameworks 5.83 update. The Krunner issue still exists but I think as Antonio said its more of a distro thing. For Shortcut idk if its intended behavior or not so don't know if its a bug or not. As when I did a fresh install of Arch recently as got a new ssd. So I reinstalled everything and in that Konsole shortcut was missing i.e ctrl + alt + T. Had to add it by adding konsole application in shortcuts KCM. Khotkeys was installed btw if that matters. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

I'm guessing that Libinput isn't detecting the condition > properly. Okay. I get it. It's misleading if one comes from Windows because Windows has an actual "Tablet Mode". But the Plasma setting is referring to a hardware state, not a "software state". I tested by re-activating the "tablet mode only" checkbox and removing the keyboard. Automatic rotation didn't work. In my case, unchecking "tablet mode only" produces the desired results—the opposite of your advice, but it sent me in the right direction. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

I finally ran strace on it and i can see > where it does open the directory when i select it and it sees there are 14 > entries in the directory. It doesn't matter if recursive is select or now > as i'm only selecting an individual album directory so there is nothing in > it but flac files. I do not see where it opened any of the flac files from > the strace. I don't see any unusual errors. It just returns without doing > any scans of the individual files. Yeah, I think we've established the existing diagnostic output doesn't meet your expectations. :) It's concentrated on the scenario where an audio file is read and considered but then doesn't get added to the collection for whatever reason (no album, no track number, inconsistent artist, bad merging of entries, etc.). So like I said, the lack of any output seems to indicate that the directory may be read for the list of files but something is keeping those files from either being scanned or read. That part of the code hasn't changed much in a while, so I'm also at a bit of a loss why it might have worked before but not now. So I'm going back through any recent changes again. Nothing in my unit tests are showing up as having any problems. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

The wayland QPA plugin is currently handling it by setting the parent to the topmost grabbing popup. Note, however, that this may cause positioning errors and popups closing unxpectedly because xdg-shell mandate that child popups close before parents Using WhatsThis::showText(m_lastExpandableToolTipGlobalPos, m_action->whatsThis(), &positioningHelper); with an unmapped parent certainly isn't helping, we'll be getting in the path for Qt to guess the transient parent. This sets it to be based on the current popup that is about to close. Closing the initial popup first might fix it. [i18n] [Bug 438299] extra I18N_EXCESS_ARGUMENTS_SUPPLIED after SMART status page warning
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=438299 --- Comment #5 from nttkde --- At least in my case the warning was valid, a failing disk controller had caused some CRC errors (most often those are caused just by a bad SATA cable, but may be a sign of hardware failure). And some other non-critical statistics were a bit high. It still PASSES the SMART tests in smartctl as some amount of the CRC errors may be normal. Double-check that there isn't anything suspicious in the SMART attributes, even if the overall status is Passed. I'm not a developer but I don't think this specific translation error could have caused that; some bug could of course be elsewhere though. Maybe file a new bug report to 'plasma-disks' (and include smartctl -x command output) if you think your HDD is okay and the error was for no reason; and a wishlist bug to 'kinfocenter' for the "more info" button. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[kdeconnect] [Bug 438566] kdeconnect-sms disobeys qt5&kvantum theme settings
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=438566 --- Comment #2 from Simon Redman --- Thanks for reporting this bug. I know approximately nothing about theming. However, I have one detail which might help debug further: kdeconnect-sms is not a traditional C++ Qt app, it is written in QML with heavy use of Kirigami. As far as I have experienced, this alone has significant impact on how themes are applied. I would encourage you to investigate more QML/Kirigami applications and see if this is the common link. Lots of modern KDE applications use QML and Kirigami. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
