[kwin] [Bug 453994] gap/spacing between desktops can't be configured anymore
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=453994 --- Comment #2 from bastimeyer...@gmail.com --- A 2x2 grid for example will always have a fat, thick bar in the middle of the screen, which is annoying and distracting. I also don't like it. I was using a gap size of 1 for the past years and want to keep it like that. Adding gaps is pointless and doesn't look good. The user should have an option to change it. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[kwin] [Bug 453993] new desktopgrid opening/closing animation is jittering/unsmooth
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=453993 --- Comment #2 from bastimeyer...@gmail.com --- This happens on both X11 and Wayland, and changing the compositor's latency/animation policy on both doesn't have any effects. On Wayland, the animation is even slightly worse, because it's displaying the hidden panel for one frame when the animation starts. I haven't observed this on X11. Smoothness-wise, it's the same. I'm using two 1920x1080@60 displays, with the right one as primary screen. [KScreen] [Bug 426426] state of presentation mode not consistent over multiple applets
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=426426 --- Comment #2 from ratijas --- Indeed, this is done in KScreen and Battery & Brightness applets in similar ways: they request inhibitions per applet. It should be probably moved out into a Plasma Data Engine service as an operation (sorry for multiple technical jargons). But then it raises a question: if Plasma enables inhibition on applet's behalf, and then user proceeds to remove all instances of such applets, could we reasonably detect that and turn inhibition off? [kate] [Bug 453944] Configure Filesystem Browser to show current project folder (analogous to behaviour of git window)
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=453944 --- Comment #6 from ste...@sriha.net --- (In reply to Lothar from comment #5) > I mean that the project file view is not always in sync with the current > file. Only when the file is part of a project. Got it. Wouldn't it be good to be able to add *any* folder (possibly without source control) manually to the list of projects? So then if you wanted to sync the folder view with the current file, all you'd have to do is to add the folder to the list of projects. Variation: let's add a context menu entry "add to list of projects" to the folders displayed in the file browser plugin (assuming that folders without VCS subfolder (like .git) are allowed as projects) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
