[kdenlive] [Bug 466232] Subtitles are drawn from wrong source when rendering projects in batch mode
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=466232 --- Comment #1 from Terry Hancock --- I did find a work-around: Since the MLT files have only the one reference to the SRT file source, it's possible to simply replace the temporary file listed with the correct sidecar SRT file from the projects directory, using a text editor. Once corrected, the batch runner will generate the videos with the correct subtitles, regardless of what project is open in Kdenlive. It's a bit of a hassle, but much better than running the jobs one-by-one. This sidecar SRT files exists after the first save of the project file after the subtitles have been added, so presumably some kind of hook could be used to update the script generate on what SRT file to reference, when the project is saved. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[frameworks-kio] [Bug 439961] kdirmodel not finding node for removed items when dialogs using kmozillahelper for Firefox are called
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=439961 --- Comment #3 from kdeb...@toeai.com --- (In reply to Rob Krum from comment #2) > Sadly I am unable to reproduce the error with the script provided. > ... It might be because I'm running > it in IDLE and terminal? I just realized we're experiencing this error message in different places. You say it's in your systemd journal logs. For me, it's just dumped into my Konsole window via stderr. It does not appear when I look in journalctl. I don't have IDLE installed, but I can't imagine that would make a difference. It works the same for me whether I just run python3 kiobug.py or whether I start the REPL with python3 and then paste in the contents of the file. You do, of course, need to follow the directions at the top of the file, i.e. click into the 'subdir' folder and hit escape to close the first popup. The script I provided depends on PyQt5, but I also tried it with PySide2 and it works identically. Sorry if it didn't reproduce for you. It still does 100% for me. I was also able to reproduce it in K3B using the same method.** I also reproduced it in Konsole using the same method (using the Open File dialog that comes up with you click "View" -> "Load tab layout from file"). I couldn't reproduce it from certain other KDE programs, but that may have something to do with the particular file type filter each program applies to the Open File dialog. **Make a folder containing a file that the program will not recognize and will thus filter out in the Open File dialog. Launch the program from the folder containing the new folder (not from the new folder itself). Open the open dialog, click into the folder, cancel/escape, and then open the dialog again. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=466331 --- Comment #4 from bryantc...@gmail.com --- Well just learned something else after I made my post and tried fiddling with something. If I use the right click menu to open a recent file that works as intended can still interact with the task manager and application menu normally, but if I right click a web browser and select any of the options like New Window, New Private Window, or Open Profile Manager then I will not be able to interact with the task manager or the application menu until closing that application as originally stated. This also applies to the KDE Settings if I right click the KDE Settings on Favorites and select a category I will get the same behavior as with opening a web browser that way. At first I thought the issue was only web browsers before I posted, but then I tried Settings and got the same behavior. Unfortunately I didn't think to see if opening a recent file via click would also result in the same behavior which for some reason it does not. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[neon] [Bug 466373] Qt apps don't use wp-fractional-scale-v1 for hidpi fractional scaling on Wayland
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=466373 --- Comment #4 from Edward Oubrayrie --- Created attachment 156690 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=156690=edit plasma 5.27.1 - artifacts with both XWayland(XCB) and Wayland I had not rebooted after 5.27.1 final so I was probably mostly on Neon testing from 2023-02-17 So, attaching this as the current status. Unfortunately 5.27.1 changes nothing for the platform=wayland scenario -- and it seems to regress the platform=xcb XWayland scenario, making it blurry (not that I care) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
