[KScreen] [Bug 482974] Resolution changes after switching off the monitor
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=482974 --- Comment #12 from Dorian Han --- (In reply to Zamundaaa from comment #11) > If an unusable resolution or 640x480 is used, then that's almost certainly a > driver bug; it means it either read wrong data in the EDID or no EDID at all. > > > I have a live repro but I don't have a valid video output. What kind of > > information do you need? > After triggering the problem, ssh in from a different PC (or phone) and save > the output of drm_info somewhere and attach it here. It'll contain the list > of driver-provided modes It has been a few days since my last comment. The wayland session is totally not usable under my case due to this issue. I set the configs under ~/.local/config/kscreen configs to be readonly, which seems partially helped mitigate the issue on X11 and resulted in less frequent repro(s) of this issue. Here I attached the drm_info output under wayland. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[konsole] [Bug 471462] Hard-to-see colors in black-on-white color scheme
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=471462 --- Comment #1 from Dave Vasilevsky --- The Gnome palettes here tend to look much nicer on light backgrounds: https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-terminal/-/blob/master/src/terminal-profile-editor.cc?ref_type=heads#L196 . At least in the sense that they're actually readable! It also helps that Gnome allows choosing the overall "scheme" (background/foreground colors) and "palette" (set of colors) independently. It doesn't look like there's a Konsole black-on-white scheme update in a decade, so it's not unreasonable to think it's due for an update: https://invent.kde.org/utilities/konsole/-/blob/master/data/color-schemes/BlackOnWhite.colorscheme?ref_type=heads Another option might be adding a new scheme you like to the KDE Store (which is free): https://store.kde.org/browse?cat=462&ord=rating Or you could pick an existing scheme from there. Unforunately few of the currently available schemes are light-colored, and tbh I find them mostly pretty weird. [kde] [Bug 485952] Taskbar not showing after maximizing a window
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=485952 --- Comment #1 from Henrique --- I resolved the issue I was experiencing by reinstalling the operating system and deleting the .config file in the ~/home directory. This annoying bug prevented me from completing any task related to the system tray taskbar. I suspect the issue arose when I migrated from KDE Fedora 39, as I did not delete the .config file and kept the same desktop environment. It seems that some configurations from KDE 5 to 6 did not match properly, resulting in this problem. When utilizing the taskbar without floating, the system tray icon remains invisible even after a reboot. However, with the floating taskbar, the system-tray window reappears normally after a reboot or if the taskbar is removed and reinserted. It seems that maximizing the window may cause the floating taskbar to become fixed and trigger the bug. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
