Bug ID: 485680
Summary: Plasma crashes when I click on a window behind a
notification window
Classification: Plasma
   Product: plasmashell
   Version: 5.27.10
  Platform: Debian testing
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
  Keywords: drkonqi
  Severity: crash
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
  Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org
  Reporter: ali...@she-devel.com
CC: k...@davidedmundson.co.uk
  Target Milestone: 1.0

Application: plasmashell (5.27.10)

Qt Version: 5.15.10
Frameworks Version: 5.107.0
Operating System: Linux 6.7.9 x86_64
Windowing System: X11
Distribution: Debian GNU/Linux trixie/sid
DrKonqi: 5.27.10 [CoredumpBackend]

-- Information about the crash:
I am running a self-compiled 6.7.9 kernel with much, much debugging enabled.
Otherwise, Testing with proprietary signal-desktop application running.
The crash: I plugged in my watch for charging. A window popped up offering to
mount the storage. I clicked on the signal-desktop window behind the
storage-offer notification to dismiss it. That's when Plasma crashed.

The reporter is unsure if this crash is reproducible.

[Discover] [Bug 396763] New: Print Settings KDE applet crashes on start

2018-07-22 Thread Alison Chaiken
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=396763

Bug ID: 396763
Summary: Print Settings KDE applet crashes on start
   Product: Discover
   Version: 5.13.1
  Platform: Debian testing
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Keywords: drkonqi
  Severity: crash
  Priority: NOR
 Component: discover
  Assignee: aleix...@kde.org
  Reporter: ali...@she-devel.com
  Target Milestone: ---

Application: plasma-discover (5.13.1)

Qt Version: 5.10.1
Frameworks Version: 5.47.0
Operating System: Linux 4.9.0-3-amd64 x86_64
Distribution: Debian GNU/Linux testing (buster)

-- Information about the crash:
- What I was doing when the application crashed:
I tried starting the application two ways: with left-click on "Print Settings"
in launcher menu, which produced an icon in the system tray for one second,
then nothing. Then I tried right-click on the same launcher item and selected
"Manage Print Settings", which tried longer to open but still crashed.
- Unusual behavior I noticed:
No output is produced with the left click: no error message. The right click
produces some notification popups that report errors.

The crash can be reproduced every time.
