[dolphin] [Bug 474713] Folder panel arrows missing and cannot be expanded on some, not all folders containing sub-folders

2024-01-11 Thread Andy Goss
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=474713

After startup, Dolphin often does not show all the folder expansion icons. This
is corrected by refreshing the view.
Seen on a HDD, but not on an SDD.

[kmail2] [Bug 413798] New: Folder List displays truncated

2019-11-04 Thread Andy Goss
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=413798

Bug ID: 413798
   Summary: Folder List displays truncated
   Product: kmail2
   Version: 5.10.3
  Platform: openSUSE RPMs
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
  Severity: minor
  Priority: NOR
 Component: folders
  Assignee: kdepim-b...@kde.org
  Reporter: aeg...@internode.on.net
  Target Milestone: ---

Created attachment 123709
  --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=123709&action=edit
Folder list at startup.

SUMMARY

openSUSE 15.1. On startup, the folder list entries are truncated, see
attachment. The columns have to be adjusted to make the folder names and number
of unread emails visible.
The version supplied with 15.0 displayed the folder list with unread emails
shown in another colour, without truncation. The current "favourites" pane
still does this.

[okular] [Bug 402779] New: Okular, when printing 2 pages per sheet, prints the wrong pages.

2019-01-01 Thread Andy Goss
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=402779

Bug ID: 402779
Summary: Okular, when printing 2 pages per sheet, prints the
wrong pages.
   Product: okular
   Version: 1.3.3
  Platform: openSUSE RPMs
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: printing
  Assignee: okular-de...@kde.org
  Reporter: aeg...@internode.on.net
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY
If I try and print two pages from a PDF (a Canon camera manual in this
instance), two per A4 sheet, I get four pages, the wrong ones, two per sheet.
The result is the same for larger numbers of pages.
Specifying Print to File causes the pages per sheet option to be greyed out.
Also ignores the page number selection and copies the whole file over, but
bigger, with each page placed as what looks like A5 in the middle of an A4
page.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open a PDF file with okular.

2. Open the print dialog.

3. Open Printer Properties

4. Set Pages per Sheet to 2. OK.

5. Open Options.

6. Select specific pages. (I did not try the Pages From as I needed specific
single pages from the file)

7. Print.

OBSERVED RESULT
Four pages are printed, two per sheet. The second of each pair is a page twice
the specified page number, the first is the page before.
For instance, if I specify pages 65 and 73, I get pages 129, 130, 145, 146.

EXPECTED RESULT
One sheet containing two pages.

[kmail2] [Bug 400770] Erratic Kmail filtering (startup problem?)

I have a similar problem with filters.

Some filters are not applied on incoming emails. Those that are applied are the
ones that redirect emails from their initial inbox (I have several email
addresses) to the local inbox or to other folders, based on the To, From, and
Subject fields. Other filters are not applied, even though the first group are
set to not stop checking if met.

Filters cannot be run manually on a folder unless the Settings > Configure
Filters utility is opened, and one filter, it doesn't matter which, is
selected, and OK pressed. Then filters can be run manually on a folder, and any
subsequent incoming emails during the session will be fully filtered.

The problem does not occur on every startup, just most of them. On rare
occasions no filters are applied.

In addition, the initial download on startup does not always happen

I confirm this, it applies at least to PDF files, plus .doc and .odt files
created by Libre Office.

In addition, on Wednesday I received a .doc attachment that Libre Office opened
with a filename of "untitled 1". And it still does today (as do .doc/.odt
attachments to older emails), when attachments sent today open as
"messageviewer_<*>"

As far back as I can go PDF files want to save as "messageviewer_<*>".

  Platform: Ubuntu Packages
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Keywords: drkonqi
  Severity: crash
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general

Application: gwenview (16.08.2)

Qt Version: 5.7.0
Frameworks Version: 5.27.0
Operating System: Linux 4.4.0-59-generic x86_64
Distribution: Maui

-- Information about the crash:
- What I was doing when the application crashed: I had just cropped the image.
I could see the cropped image

- Unusual behavior I noticed: I had created the image using xsane, which was
still running when I first tried to crop it. I closed xsane but the exact crash
repeated several times. I have not tried in a new session.

The crash can be reproduced every time.
