This still works for me. Would screencast, but cannot find anything to
screencast with (that does not pull in several gnome deps at least).

[plasmashell] [Bug 444880] New: Unfolded icon only applet does not close after drag-and-dropping a Firefox tab

2021-11-03 Thread Arthur Schiwon
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=444880

Bug ID: 444880
Summary: Unfolded icon only applet does not close after
drag-and-dropping a Firefox tab
   Product: plasmashell
   Version: 5.23.2
  Platform: Archlinux Packages
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
Component: Task Manager and Icons-Only Task Manager
  Assignee: h...@kde.org
  Reporter: bli...@arthur-schiwon.de
CC: plasma-b...@kde.org
  Target Milestone: 1.0

Created attachment 143170
  --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=143170=edit
Window picker when open, after it was supposed to be closed

SUMMARY

When a firefox tab is moved to a different windows via the icon-only task
manager, the window selection does not close again.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Have two or more Firefox (94) windows open
2. Drag a tab from one firefox window…
3. …hover over the icon-only task manager entry of firefox until the window
selector unfolds…
4. …drop the tab over the selected window

OBSERVED RESULT

The tab is moved to the new window and the window picker of the icon-only task
manager is closed again.

EXPECTED RESULT

The window picker stays open. Clicking elsewhere, clicking on one of the
windows, or pressing escape does not close it.
Changing to a different virtual desktop and back closes it though.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: Arch
KDE Plasma Version: 5.23.2
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.87.0
Qt Version: 5.15.2

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

On Wayland, Intel graphics.

Hi Justin,

thanks to getting back to me five years after reporting a data-loosing issue. I
am sure you understand I stopped using kmail and lost trust in the
maintainership in the meantime. I do not know whether the issue persists.

Cheers

Also similar strange behaviour (from Arch packages): first time it is almost
okay, it starts too high, first 2½ lines are behind my the panel (it's on the
top), subsequentially the height is OK, however it is not centered anymore, but
on the left edge.

Plasma 5.10 introduced the nice feature to pause music on suspend. However, it
also works the different way around, at least when using Juk. If Juk is in
paused state, suspend will make the music play. Can cause funny moments when
waking up the machine.

[trojita] [Bug 361372] New: Trojita crashes with symbol lookup error against QtKeychain on startup

2016-04-04 Thread Arthur Schiwon via KDE Bugzilla
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=361372

Bug ID: 361372
Summary: Trojita crashes with symbol lookup error against
QtKeychain on startup
   Product: trojita
   Version: 0.6
  Platform: Archlinux Packages
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: grave
  Priority: NOR
 Component: Core
  Assignee: trojita-b...@kde.org
  Reporter: bli...@arthur-schiwon.de

I have had Trojita set up since v 0.6. I decided to let the credentials be
stored using QtKeychain. All worked fine until an update of QtKeychain to
0.6.0. Since then Trojita crashes on startup. Meanwhile QtKeychain is on 0.6.1.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Configure Trojita 0.6 while running against QtKeychain 0.5. Quit Trojita.
2. Upgrade QtKeychain to 0.6.x
3. Launch Trojita

Actual Results:
$ trojita
trojita: symbol lookup error:
/usr/lib/trojita/trojita_plugin_QtKeychainPasswordPlugin.so: undefined symbol:
_ZN9QKeychain15ReadPasswordJob6setKeyERK7QString

Expected Results:
Trojita starts successfully.

The Qt4 version of QtKeychain was dropped with 0.6.0.

[Akonadi] [Bug 358267] New: Incoming mail moved to Trash immediately

2016-01-20 Thread Arthur Schiwon via KDE Bugzilla
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=358267

Bug ID: 358267
Summary: Incoming mail moved to Trash immediately
   Product: Akonadi
   Version: unspecified
  Platform: Archlinux Packages
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: grave
  Priority: NOR
 Component: IMAP resource
  Assignee: chrig...@fastmail.fm
  Reporter: bli...@arthur-schiwon.de
CC: kdepim-b...@kde.org, vkra...@kde.org

Incoming email is was suddenly started to be moved to the trash. This happened
recently already, so I decided to setup a new Imap resource. All worked not
round but okish, until three days later I also found my incoming mails being
moved to trash.

It happens with my corporate email account. That is served by a Kerio mail
server. The admin could confirm that my client was moving the mails to trash.

This first time it happened some time earlier in January. I did not have issues
like that before. Very likely it started after KDE Releases Frameworks 5.18.0
and KDE Releases Applications 15.12.1 releases.

Akonadi 5.1.51
Using KMail 5.5.1
I am using Antergos, it takes Akonadi etc. directly from Arch repositories.

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Configure an IMAP resource (against a Kerio mailserver)
2. Use it for couple of days
3. If you wonder why there are no new mail in your inbox, check trash

Actual Results:
You will find unread emails in your trash that should be in Inbox instead

Expected Results:
Email stay in Inbox
