[plasmashell] [Bug 371469] New: Desktop standard menu configuration locks itself

2016-10-21 Thread Bartosz Krzeszewski via KDE Bugzilla
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=371469

Bug ID: 371469
Summary: Desktop standard menu configuration locks itself
   Product: plasmashell
   Version: 5.8.2
  Platform: Gentoo Packages
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: Desktop Containment
  Assignee: se...@kde.org
  Reporter: bar...@bugpoint.pl

When you disable "desktop settings" checkbox in "desktop standard menu" then
you can't enable it or even change your desktop settings (wallpaper) because
this is the only place where you do it and it is now disabled. There is no way
to change your wallpaper from systemsettings.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. disable "desktop settings" checkbox in "desktop standard menu"
2. try to enable it
3. you can't enable it

Actual Results:
Can't change wallpaper

Expected Results:
There should be an option in systemsettings to change desktop wallpaper and to
change settings of "desktop menu"

[plasmashell] [Bug 368784] New: Logout/reboot/shutdown window appears on first on the left screen and it has primary screen width

2016-09-14 Thread Bartosz Krzeszewski via KDE Bugzilla
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=368784

Bug ID: 368784
Summary: Logout/reboot/shutdown window appears on first on the
left screen and it has primary screen width
   Product: plasmashell
   Version: 5.7.4
  Platform: Gentoo Packages
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: Multi-screen support
  Assignee: aleix...@kde.org
  Reporter: bar...@bugpoint.pl
CC: plasma-b...@kde.org

I have two screens connected. 1280x720 on the left and 1920x1080 on the right.
1920x1080 is my primary screen. 1280x720 is mostly turned off but is connected
and system thinks it is on. When I click logout/reboot/shutdown button from
system menu then splash screen window appears. Problem is that it appears on
the left screen and I can only see little part of it because it has 1920 width
and doesn't fit on my left screen.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. have two screens with different resolution
2. split them to left and right screen
3. click logout button

Actual Results:
Can't see logout screen

Expected Results:
Logout screen should be seen on every screen the same as login screen is.
