OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal

When copying files from a remote location to local through sfftp, I saw kdeinit

kdeinit5[838]: log_kio_sftp: enqueueChunks
kdeinit5[838]: log_kio_sftp: enqueueChunks done "1"
kdeinit5[838]: log_kio_sftp: enqueueChunks
kdeinit5[838]: log_kio_sftp: enqueueChunks done "1"
kdeinit5[838]: log_kio_sftp: enqueueChunks
kdeinit5[838]: log_kio_sftp: enqueueChunks done "1"

I have tons of logs in my journalist. I wonder if it is necessary, or may be

I created the sftp connection through the Dolphin GUI.

Reproducible: Always

1. Create a connection to a SFTP location
2. Copy a large file from the remote to local
3. Observer log with "journalctl -f"

Actual Results:
log_kio_sftp log floods

I think this bug is NOT really a technical issue, but a design problem.

This is a option on the UI to let people choose time format, but...Why the date
time format has to be bound with a country? What's the rationality for this
design?

[plasmashell] [Bug 355297] Hard Disk I/O Monitor display partition that is removed

2016-01-30 Thread David Shen via KDE Bugzilla
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=355297

I found another way to reproduce this issue.

1. Connect a USB/external drive to your system
2. In Hard Disk I/O Monitor, check if you can see this new drive in the
Settings dialog
3. Exit the monitor and remove the drive
4. Launch the monitor again, and observe the previous driver is not display in
the panel
5. Open the Settings dialog, then click on the OK button

Actual: The previous removed drive appeared in the monitor panel.

Expected: Nothing should change in the monitor panel

I think the Settings dialog somehow remembers all the drivers it has seen
before. And if the user does not explicitly disable the driver, it will display
its status on the monitor. But the Settings dialog does not display those
disconnected/remove driver/partition in the list, there's no way to uncheck
those driver/partition.
