Even the "Save" option crashes the application if I try to save from a blank project. I use Fedora Silverblue 39 with GNOME 45.5 and the Wayland session. I didn't see the same behaviour in other KDE apps like Kdenlive and Okular, so it seems specify of Krita. I don't know what runtimes are used for Krita Flatpak. If you give me more instructions I can follow them. I share what I get booting the app from the terminal. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open Krita 5.2.2 Flatpak. 2. Use the "Save as" option or try to "Save" from a new project. 3. You see that the app crashes. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[kdenlive] [Bug 463047] Flatpak version doesn't behave correctly on GNOME Wayland
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=463047 --- Comment #2 from Eduardo Medina --- Hi. Now I see that the environment variables for Flatpak are bad configured. I have to set "XDG_CURRENT_DESKTOP=kde" to "XDG_CURRENT_DESKTOP=gnome" to get the app working correctly. Doing this I can use Kdenlive Flatpak more integrated on GNOME Wayland. Even the app boots faster. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[flatpak-platform-plugin] [Bug 468773] New: I can't drag and navigate normally through menus in many KDE and Qt Flatpak apps on GNOME 44 with Wayland
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=468773 Bug ID: 468773 Summary: I can't drag and navigate normally through menus in many KDE and Qt Flatpak apps on GNOME 44 with Wayland Classification: Frameworks and Libraries Product: flatpak-platform-plugin Version: unspecified Platform: Flatpak OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: jgrul...@redhat.com Reporter: edu.rm...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- Hi, I recently updated to Fedora Silverblue 38 and I always use the Wayland session. I see that some apps like OBS Studio and Audacious with the Qt interface don't let me to navigate through many normally. If I do one click on File (Archivo), the menu closes when I drag the mouse pointer to Edit (Editar). Both apps are in Flatpak format. By other hand, Krita and Shotcut in Flatpak format don't allow me to drag elements, so it's much harder to work with those apps on the Wayland session of GNOME 44. The menu works correctly on those apps. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open a Qt or KDE app in Flatpak format. 2. Try to navigate through the menu or try to drag and drop things/elements. OBSERVED RESULT Bad behavior of the app menu or the drag feature. EXPECTED RESULT A correct behavior of the menu and the drag, obviously. If you activate the Activities (Actividades in my computer) section, you can see that the previsualizations of the current clip and the project turn transparent. Another bug I found is if you open the app and you put the mouse pointer on the opening banner, you can see that the mouse pointer turns big, breaking the consistence with the interface. And finally, you can see the the menu doesn't behave correctly because submenus are showed out of place. I see some kind of "ghost effect" when you navigate through the menu bar, but that bug wasn't captured by the video. Sorry if the description is not good (I know that my English is horrible), but I don't if this is one bug or several bugs. I will stay here to follow the instructions you give me. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[Qt/KDE Flatpak Runtime] [Bug 460531] New: Many Qt apps crash on GNOME Wayland (Fedora 36 Silverblue), I think after updating the KDE Platform and related components
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=460531 Bug ID: 460531 Summary: Many Qt apps crash on GNOME Wayland (Fedora 36 Silverblue), I think after updating the KDE Platform and related components Classification: Developer tools Product: Qt/KDE Flatpak Runtime Version: unspecified Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: aleix...@kde.org Reporter: edu.rm...@gmail.com CC: aa...@kde.org Target Milestone: --- Created attachment 152889 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=152889=edit The info I could get from the bug: a video, three screenshots and a TXT file SUMMARY Hi, since a week ago (more or less) there almost all the Qt apps I use in Fedora Silverblue (all of them in Flatpak format) are crashing when I use them on GNOME Wayland session. Only Krita, KGet, OBS Studio and Telegram (the latest is broken, but not by the KDE Platform) seem to keep stable. By other hand, Kdenlive, Audacious, Peazip and qBittorrent show instability issues. I can reproduce the bug opening Kdenlive first and Krita later and after, closing Krita, you can see that Kdenlive crashes. I can get the same result with Peazip and qBittorrent. Sometimes the crashes occur randomly. In apps like Kdenlive and qBittorrent, if you try to close the "About" menu, you can crash the apps. This is a message I get after closing the "About" window of Kdenlive: org.kde.kf5.kwindowsystem.kwayland: This compositor does not support the Shadow interface I think that the root of the problem are 5.15-21.08 and 5.15-22.08 version of the KDE Platform and related components like org.kde.KStyle.Adwaita, org.kde.PlatformTheme.QGnomePlatform and org.kde.WaylandDecoration.QGnomePlatform-decoration, but I'm not sure. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. (Example) Open Kdenlive first and after Krita on the Wayland session of GNOME 2. Close Krita OBSERVED RESULT You can see that Krita drags Kdenlive until to crash it. EXPECTED RESULT Software stability. After creating a project without video tracks, I try to save it with the "Save as" option. The saving process works as usual, but after clicking on Save button in GTK dialog, the app crashes. I don't know if this occurs on KDE Plasma desktop or on other distributions, but I think it would be good to create project without video tracks if you only want to deal with sound files. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Create a project without video tracks in the Flatpak version (at least) of Kdenlive. 2. Try to save the project with the "Save as" process. 3. After press on Save button in GTK dialog (at least), the app crashes. OBSERVED RESULT The app crashes after saving a project without video tracks. EXPECTED RESULT To continue to use Kdenlive as usual.
