Ups.. mail.kde.org says that archives are private, while lists.kde.org shows
archives. But I did not find any DBUS related there. I found QTBUG-48436. The
test case from it does not reproduce the problem with my Qt installation.

Could you point me where can I try to find the problem, please?

I'm not a member of kde-devel and the archive is private (why?). Qt was updated
just now. And I had the same problem with 5.5.1.

Bug ID: 359611
   Summary: Plasmashell loads itself incompletely and with long
delays
   Product: plasmashell
   Version: 5.5.4
  Platform: Gentoo Packages
OS: Linux

Loading of the plasnashell takes more than minute. If I interrupt it when I/O
activity stops, gdb shows the following backtrace:

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=356359

--- Comment #14 from Eugene Shalygin <eugene.shalygin+bugzilla@gmail.com>

Now Okular does not want to open files with spaces in path from command line.
$ okular /some/directory name/file name.pdf -> does not work
$ okular /some/directory_name/file name.pdf -> does not work
$ okular /some/directory name/file_name.pdf -> does not work
$ okular /some/directory_name/file_name.pdf -> works
$ cd /some/directory name; okular file_name.pdf -> does not work
$ cd /some/directory name; okular file name.pdf -> does not works

In all cases File|Open in Okular works OK.

I have very same problem on two machines. Both have complex locale settings.
The first one runs Gentoo and the second one runs ArchLinux. Locale settings
are identical:
$ cat /etc/locale.conf
LANG=uk_UA.UTF-8
LC_NUMERIC=C
LC_COLLATE=C
LC_MONETARY=en_IE.UTF-8@euro
LC_MESSAGES=C
LC_ADDRESS=de_DE.UTF-8
LC_TELEPHONE=de_DE.UTF-8
LC_PAPER=de_DE.UTF-8

Once I enable "Detailed Settings" in the Formats KCM, Okular is unable to open
files with non ASCII characters in names. However, I do not think that this is
problem of Okular, since LibreOffice shows the same problem (can't open nor via
kde-open nor via its File|Open menu). The only difference is that in error
messages where they inform user about the problem Libre Office shows correct
file name, while Okular shows characters in encoding which I can't even guess
instead of non-ASCII letters.

So, I think Formats KCM does something wrong to locale settings. When I set
there my settings from /etc/locale.conf, locale shows:
$ locale
locale: Cannot set LC_ALL to default locale: No such file or directory
LANG=uk_UA.UTF-8
LC_CTYPE="uk_UA.UTF-8"
LC_NUMERIC=C
LC_TIME="uk_UA.UTF-8"
LC_COLLATE=C
LC_MONETARY=en_IE.UTF-8
LC_MESSAGES=C
LC_PAPER=de_DE.UTF-8
LC_NAME="uk_UA.UTF-8"
LC_ADDRESS=de_DE.UTF-8
LC_TELEPHONE=de_DE.UTF-8
LC_MEASUREMENT="uk_UA.UTF-8"
LC_IDENTIFICATION="uk_UA.UTF-8"

However, no plot is shown. Next applet activations brings up the applet without

Milan, I observe this in any project and any source file with completion
triggered automatically or manually via ctrl+space. Therefore I conclude that
the problem is not related to a particular file set. Am I right? If so, perhaps
you can point me, please, to the code which controls the size of the popup and
I will try to debug it?

[kdevelop] [Bug 356308] New: kdevelop completion popup window sizing is broken

2015-12-05 Thread Eugene Shalygin via KDE Bugzilla
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=356308

Bug ID: 356308
   Summary: kdevelop completion popup window sizing is broken
   Product: kdevelop
   Version: git master
  Platform: Gentoo Packages
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
  Assignee: kdevelop-bugs-n...@kde.org
  Reporter: eugene.shalygin+bugzilla@gmail.com

Almost always when the completion popup windows shows up, after a short timeout
(~0.5 seconds) it got resized to the same small size.

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Invoke completion
2. Wait a bit

Actual Results:
The completion popup is unusable because it is too small.

Expected Results:
The window has usable size

Qt 5.5.1
