2020-04-12 Thread Farhan
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=420008

Bug ID: 420008
   Summary: Add Bookmark hotkey conflict
   Product: konsole
   Version: 19.12.3
  Platform: Archlinux Packages
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: bookmark
  Assignee: konsole-de...@kde.org
  Reporter: farhan.kathaw...@gmail.com
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY
The CTRL+B hotkey for adding a bookmark in Konsole conflicts with several
heavily used terminal programs (notably tmux and vim/vi).

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Install tmux and run the `tmux` command
2. Try to open a new pane with either CTRL+B + % or CTRL+B + "
3.

OBSERVED RESULT
The pane does not open. Instead a bookmark is silently added to the Konsole
bookmarks tab

EXPECTED RESULT
The pane opens.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Windows:
macOS:
Linux/KDE Plasma:
(available in About System)
KDE Plasma Version: 5.18.4
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.69.0
Qt Version: 5.14.2

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Would love if there were an option in Settings to change this hotkey, it
seriously throws off the workflow to have default major key combinations
conflicting with ones terminal. Thanks for all your work on the project. I can
also help with the bug, if you can point to the code repo and installation
instructions.

Bug ID: 411626
Summary: Real Python feed doesn't appear in Akregator browser
but feed seems parsed...
   Product: akregator
   Version: 5.11.3
  Platform: Archlinux Packages
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
  Assignee: kdepim-b...@kde.org
  Reporter: farhan.kathaw...@gmail.com
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY

After adding the Real Python Atom feed (https://realpython.com/atom.xml), I see
"Real Python (20)" in the sidebar, bolded. But when I click on that item in the
sidebar, I only see a blank screen in the main area on the left where there is
usually a list of articles.

I'm not sure if the feed is being parsed wrong, if it is invalid XML, or if the
main area is failing to show the articles correctly.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Add feed "https://realpython.com/atom.xml";
2. Click on the "Real Python" feed in the sidebar

OBSERVED RESULT

Blank screen in the left-hand-side main area.

EXPECTED RESULT

List of articles visible in the left-hand-side main area.
SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Windows:
macOS:
Linux/KDE Plasma: Linux 5.2.9
(available in About System)
KDE Plasma Version: 5.16.4
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.61.0
Qt Version: 5.13.0

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
I have about 18 other feeds in the sidebar. All of those render correctly, they
include atom feeds, like the Real Python blog.
