OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED

Since the last two plasma updates, the digital clock widget does not show
anything. There is just empty space without anything visible in it.
Furthermore, the calender which appears after clicking on the clock does not
show correct dates. It shows e.g. day 36 of the month. Additionally, the analog
clock widget does not change. It shows the same time all day long.
The bug still remained after i reinstalled my system (openSUSE Tumbleweed).

   Version: 5.6.1

The settings for the mouse wheel in systemsettings5 take no effect. I also
tried to set the mouse wheel to 12 lines to check if this changes anything, but
it did not. I figured out that Applications like Firefox or The Gimp are not
affected, so it seems that the mouse wheel works fine in gtk Applications.

For me the feature also always worked like a charm. I never encountered any

broken on it Kai Uwe Broulik? Also i have to point out: If a feature is
superfluous for YOU Kai Uwe Broulik, it does not mean it is for other
people...Maybe it would be better to just fix the many many bugs in Plasma 5

sure other users are of the same opinion.

Is there any possibility to get this functionality back. I really love this
feature because most of the available themes are not really nice at all. In
every theme i want to change something and i dont want to edit each theme
manually. I am really sad to say that i have to think about a desktop change if
this feature does not come back because i want a beautiful and customizable
desktop. That is what i always loved about KDE :(
Also i do not see any reason to remove this feature. People who do not want to
use it don't have to.

In Plasma 4 i had the possibility to change the settings of a icon starter that
i placed on the taskbar in the same way as i can for the icons on the desktop
folder view. In Plasma 5 i am not even able to change the icon. I mean the
normal icon startes which i can place on the taskbar by drag and drop a icon
from a folder not the startes which i can place in the taskbar by rightclicking
on a running programm an clicking create starter.

Also it would be good, if it was possible to change the size of the last named
icon starters, so that they have the same size such as the normal icon
starters.

very often if i open a window, the windows decorations of all windows
disappear. Sometimes this happens if no window is open before but sometimes
also if some other windows are already opened. The only action to get the

Ok, i changed the setting in file association - inode- directory back to the
setting it was before (files). Like before folders are opened with nautilus
now. The file ~/.config/mimeapps.list is now:

[Added Associations]
inode/directory=org.gnome.Nautilus.desktop;org.kde.dolphin.desktop;pcmanfm.desktop;kde4-kfmclient_dir.desktop;

[Default Applications]
inode/directory=org.gnome.Nautilus.desktop;

chosing Dolphin as standard application for folders changes the file as
following:

[Added Associations]
inode/directory=org.kde.dolphin.desktop;org.gnome.Nautilus.desktop;pcmanfm.desktop;kde4-kfmclient_dir.desktop;

[Default Applications]
inode/directory=org.kde.dolphin.desktop;

but nevertheless folders are opened in Nautilus. The setting takes no effect.
if i open KDE Control Center, the option (thats the option for Nautilus) is
checked again.

ktraderclient gives the following output:

Florian@linux-vaio:~> ktraderclient5 --mimetype inode/directory
mimetype is : inode/directory
