Notice this happens in Kunbutu with Plasma 5.27.11 for me.

I think this is similar to this bug in Gnome :
https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/NetworkManager-fortisslvpn/-/issues/45 related
to this : https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/NetworkManager-fortisslvpn/-/issues/56

and probably solved by this merge request:
https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/NetworkManager-fortisslvpn/-/merge_requests/26

I'm not sure (in fact I have no idea) how this translates into plasma-nm, but I
feel the solution in around the corner.

In the meantime, I set the password to "Ask each time" so I can get and insert
the OTP.

Ok, reproduced: has to do with the way Infomaniak's webmail (called kmail ...
:-( ) forwards mails when "forward as attachment" is set.
I'll attach a faulty mail.

[kmail2] [Bug 476762] New: Kmail does not show encapsulated message in received mail

2023-11-09 Thread Franck Routier

Bug ID: 476762
Summary: Kmail does not show encapsulated message in received
mail
Classification: Applications
   Product: kmail2
   Version: 5.24.1
  Platform: Kubuntu
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
  Assignee: kdepim-b...@kde.org

SUMMARY
***
For some time (maybe after I changed mail provider), kmail does not show
certain encapsulated messages.
Same encapsulated mail can be seen on eg K9mail on Android (or in Webmail).
***

WHAT HAPPENS:

Encapsulated message shows no from, no date, no content.
Opening encapsulated message is no better. Using the V keyword in this empty
encapsulated message window shows the base64 code.

EXPECTED RESULT:
I should see the encapsulated message.

DETAILS:
Looking at the main message source, I see this structure:

[systemsettings] [Bug 435113] certain mouse settings resets after restart/resume from suspend/dock/undock

2022-08-11 Thread Franck Routier
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=435113

--- Comment #97 from Franck Routier (alci) ---
My report was just marked as duplicate of this one.
For my part, I can confirm:
- I loose the Invert scroll direction behaviour, but the setting is still there
in systemsettings
- this happens whenever I reconnect my mouse (be it direct usb or via
thunderbolt dock)
- this only happens with X11. Wayland handles this just fine.
- removing the setting, applying, rechoossing the setting and reapplying give
the behaviour back
- 'sudo udevadm trigger -s input' when the behaviour is broken does not change
anything for me
- Kde 5.24.4 / ubuntu. Status of the bug says it should be fixed in 5.24.7.

I encounter the same problem... I ran strace, and the problem occurs when kmail
tries to access external resources (images in signatures in my case). I fails
for some reason, then tries to append every extension it knows to the url (!!),
which obviously fails. This makes kmail consume 100% cpu and stall for tens of
seconds.

--- Comment #1 from Franck Routier (alci) ---
I found the origin of the problem: the resource URLs have moved and the server
is redirecting (301) to a new URL.
Evolution as well as DAVx5 cope with this, but akonadi does not. Using the
current url (and not the redirected one) works...

[Akonadi] [Bug 451565] New: Akonadi stuck at Extracting collections (0%)

2022-03-16 Thread Franck Routier
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=451565

Bug ID: 451565
Summary: Akonadi stuck at Extracting collections (0%)
   Product: Akonadi
   Version: 5.19.3
  Platform: Ubuntu Packages
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: DAV Resource
  Assignee: kdepim-b...@kde.org
  Reporter: a...@mecadu.org
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY

Trying to add CalDAV / CArdDAV resources from SOGo server, akonadi fails to
retrieve collections, and complains about lack of authentication

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Add an Address Book
2. akonadi_davgroupware assistant pops up and asks for credentials
3. asks for server name and computes the full URLs (notice ther last part is
missing, ie personal/ is my case, name of my address book)
4. when clicking OK, a popup appears and complains that the web site does not
require authentication, warning for a possible trap, and asks for confirmation
5. after confirmation, nothing happens... looking at akonadiconsole, the
resources shows "Extracting collections (0%"

OBSERVED RESULT
No usable resources (address book or calendar) is added.
Evolution and Android DAVx5 work fine with server.
Going to the url with a browser asks for authentication.

EXPECTED RESULT
Add and synchronize address book(s) and calendar(s) available on the SOGo
server
