I have the same problem. I am sometimes not able to send or receive Emails.
Every day after I restarted my openSUSE leap 4.3 system it works oke. After
some time, an hour +, it starts failing. The only way I can get it to work
again is completelly logout, wait a few minutes and login again or Send a Email
to myself that ends up waiting in error in my mail-out box (Time out while
logging on smtp-sever), disconnect my wireless network, wait a few minutes and
restart the wireless network. I get than a popup message telling me that the
send program for Emails is offline. Emails can not be send. The system asks
whether I want to set it online. If I do that it works oke for some time and
than the problem start over again.
Why is the mail sending program put offline and not automatically put online
again after the cause off putting it offline disappeared.
What is the command to put the the mail sending program on line again or better
so is there a menu item to do it or a pop up button once the mail sending
program is put offline.

This bug makes using Kontact_Kmail very user unfriendly.

Hello Steve,

As an attachment I will send the requested ".xsession-errors-:0" file. I have
looked into that file but I do not understand most of it. For me it looks like
that the system have lot of trubbles.

Hello, I have tried to find what log I should provide by finding all the "log"
entries in the comments. The only command I found was:
 tail -f /var/log/syslog | grep org.kde.KScreen
Trying that command say: cannot open '/var/log/syslog' for reading: Bestand of
map bestaat niet
tail: no files remaining

Can you help me with the proper command for tumbleweed.

Hello,

Tumbleweed version 20161023, KDE Plasma version 5.8.2

This morning I noticed that, unfortunately, the display of my primary display
(DP-1) has moved again to my my other display (HDMI-1) While the wrong
situation was corrected earlier. See my comment 185.

Hello,
This is a clarification on my own comment #164
In my case it is a desktop with 2 scfeens attatched HDMI-1 and DP-1(vga).

My problem is similar to: "Panel moves to wrong screen when external monitor is
connected"
In my case it should read "Panel moves to wrong screen when HDMI-1 or DP-1 is
selected as primary display".

Hi,
On the attached screens shot you can see my system info and my System
Settings-Display and Monitor settings.
I do not understand why the VGA screen(DP-1) Displays the menu button and
taskbar at the top while the Primary display is set as HDMI-1 or reverse if I
set DP-1 screen as primary display.
