2nd this.

First of all, I would like to note the significant improvement in the solver
and congratulate the devs on the developement!
However, I am afraid, this made the game unplayable. Now the Hint button just
outright gives the solution, which basically defeats the entire purpose of the
puzzle game :). The easiest solution is to roll back the Hint button
functionality, to make it show all possible moves, instead of the "right" one
(there can be multiple, thus quoting).

I was gonna open a new bug, but saw this one already, so I simply adding to
this one. Let me know is this should be reported in some other way..

[LabPlot2] [Bug 479643] New: Labplot cannot draw errorbars on barplot?

2024-01-11 Thread George Shapovalov
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=479643

Bug ID: 479643
Summary: Labplot cannot draw errorbars on barplot?
Classification: Applications
   Product: LabPlot2
   Version: 2.10.0
  Platform: Gentoo Packages
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: frontend
  Assignee: alexander.se...@web.de
  Reporter: gshapova...@gmail.com
  Target Milestone: ---

Cannot find any way to have barplot show error bars. I created the y-error
column with non-0 values, but there is no visible way (right-clicking anywhere
or in the options dock) to add or manage error bars for barplot. *For the x-y
curve* I found the error bar tab, and could add error bars. However no tab like
this seems to exist for barplot. Does this mean this functionallity is not
implemented? If so, I would request it to be added, as this is a very common
necessity while making graphs. Just the existing code for drawing error bars
around data points, centered at the top of error bar, would do fine.

Thank you for the otherwise great app and all your work!

Just to chime in on this with a quick suggestion: Labplot supports LaTex
rendering already is some places. It would be best and probably easier too to
just use LaTex rendering labels everywhere where text labels are shown?

[trojita] [Bug 378150] Need to change the INBOX column order and column width

Well, actually you kind of can, its just totally opposite to how everybody else
is doing it. And totally counter-intuitive..
See, everybody drags directly the separator between two columns to change
respective sizes. And in trojita you have to drag *right* column border of the
column you want to adjust. And it does a "corresponding" action, which is
totally contrary to what would be expected.
E.g., to expand the Front column (and thus to shrink the Subject column) you
drag the *right side of the From column*, not the separator between the two..
And you have to drag it right - that will make From bigger and Subject
smaller..

Note to developers:
this is really counter to how everybody else is doing it, and took me a while
to figure it out..
I think this bugs needs to be reopened (and reworded).
The fix should be to add -1 to some index I suspect..
