[kwin] [Bug 488840] Glide effect is distorted
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=488840 --- Comment #2 from Hesam Gholami --- (In reply to Nate Graham from comment #1) > It looks like you've changed the settings of this effect. Does the issue go > away if you restore them to their default values? No. If I restore default settings, the issue will remain the same. But because it happens fast, it's hard to see. So I've changed settings to demonstrate the issue better. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

Sorry if the video is laggy, I think this is also another bug in new version of Spectacle video recorder with NVIDIA gpu. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open up Desktop Effects 2. Choose Glide settings 3. Increase duration, angle and distance 4. Save and apply 5. Open up any application 6. [plasma-systemmonitor] [Bug 482719] Plasma system monitor shows different label for CPU cores after 10th core
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=482719 --- Comment #3 from Hesam Gholami --- Yes If I make the window wider it will show the labels. the problem is it takes one characters for 1 to 9 and two characters for 10 to 20. So I think the proper solution is to pad 1 to 9 with an additional space if cpu cores are more than 10. So it will be like this: Core 1 Total Usage %1.0 --> notice additional space for padding here Core 10 Total Usage %1.0 -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

For every cpu core it assigns a color and a label like 'Core 1 Total Usage %1.0'. For cpus that have more than 10 cores, it uses another label like this: 'Usage 1.0%' I've attached an image to better describe the error. I'm pretty sure this was not the case in Plasma 5 and I'm seeing this in Plasma 6.0.1. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. A cpu with more than 10 cores 2. Open up system monitor application 3. Navigate to History tab OBSERVED RESULT CPU core labels after 10th core are different from previous ones. EXPECTED RESULT CPU core labels after the 10th one also should be same as previous ones. [plasmashell] [Bug 436667] New: Task manager shows icons of apps that are not installed during OS install
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=436667 Bug ID: 436667 Summary: Task manager shows icons of apps that are not installed during OS install Product: plasmashell Version: 5.21.4 Platform: Archlinux Packages OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: Task Manager and Icons-Only Task Manager Assignee: h...@kde.org Reporter: hesamghol...@yahoo.com CC: plasma-b...@kde.org Target Milestone: 1.0 Created attachment 138182 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=138182=edit See Discover icon which is invalid. SUMMARY In some Linux distributions, you can choose what packages to install during the OS installation process. When I was installing Arch, I didn't install Discover because I'll use pacman to install and update my packages. But anyway Plasma placed an icon of Discover in my task manager which is not installed, therefore it gets an invalid icon and title. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. During OS setup, install KDE but without Discover. 2. Take a look at task manager and see invalid icon of Discover. OBSERVED RESULT There is an invalid icon for Discover in task manager. (Like in attachment) EXPECTED RESULT Discover entry should not be presented in task manager, if Discover is not installed at the first place. [plasmashell] [Bug 427836] New: Switch Desktop mouse action doesn't work if desktop layout has been set to Folder View
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=427836 Bug ID: 427836 Summary: Switch Desktop mouse action doesn't work if desktop layout has been set to Folder View Product: plasmashell Version: 5.20.0 Platform: Archlinux Packages OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: k...@davidedmundson.co.uk Reporter: hesamghol...@yahoo.com CC: plasma-b...@kde.org Target Milestone: 1.0 SUMMARY If you have some virtual desktops in a column, you should be able to switch between them using your mouse wheel. The related settings are placed in Configure Desktop and Wallpaper ... -> Mouse Actions -> Vertical Scroll -> Switch Desktop. But this feature is not working when you set desktop Layout to Folder View in Wallpaper section of the same window. So if you set Layout to Desktop, it will work as expected, but not the other way. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Create some virtual desktops beneath each other, like a column. 2. Go to Configure Desktop and Wallpaper ... -> Mouse Actions and make sure Vertical Scroll is set to Switch Desktop. 3. Again right click on desktop and go to Configure Desktop and Wallpaper ... -> Wallpaper and make sure Layout is set to Folder View. 4. Now try to scroll on an empty place of desktop and see there will be no response. OBSERVED RESULT If you scroll on an empty section on desktop, you can't see any feedback. EXPECTED RESULT Virtual desktop must be moved up or down, as you scroll on an empty section of desktop.
