[konsole] [Bug 383022] New: Unable to copy text

2017-08-01 Thread Jason Tiller
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=383022

Bug ID: 383022
   Summary: Unable to copy text
   Product: konsole
   Version: 17.04.2
  Platform: Neon Packages
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: copy-paste
  Assignee: konsole-de...@kde.org
  Reporter: ja...@sonos.org
  Target Milestone: ---

No form of copying is possible from konsole. I have the following settings:

Profile->Mouse->"Copy on select" checked

I have tried these operations to copy text to the clipboard or the selection:

1. Simple selection.
2. Selection then C-S-c.
3. Selection, right-click, select "Copy"

None of these operations pushes any data to the clipboard or selection. I've
verified that the X selection isn't changed by trying to paste into various
apps as well as dumping the contents of the primary, secondary, and clipboard
selections using 'xsel'.

I'm currently on KDE Neon 5.10.2.

After terminating all instances and running konsole again, I was also unable to
reproduce the issue. If it comes up again, I'll open a new issue. Thank you
for checking into it.

I'm also experiencing this issue. I realize it may not be a high priority for
the team. I'm specifically trying to install the Bridgepoint xtUML modeling
tool which is also based on GTK2 i386.

2020-03-18 Thread Jason Tiller
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=418998

Bug ID: 418998
Summary: No activities shown in widget - keybind to switch
activities dead
   Product: kactivitymanagerd
   Version: 5.18.3
  Platform: Neon Packages
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
  Assignee: ivan.cu...@kde.org
  Reporter: ja...@starnull.net
CC: plasma-b...@kde.org
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY

After updating from Plasma 5.18.2 to 5.18.3, the graphical activities manager
is non-functional, and cycling between activities no longer works via the
global keybind.

Specifically, the graphical activities manager widget shows no activities.

The "Activities Bar" widget shows no activities.

The "Activities Pager" widget shows no actvities.

kactivites-cli is completely functional, showing activities and allowing me to
switch between them.

The KCM "Activities" component shows all of the activities I have ever created.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Update from 5.18.2 to 5.18.3.
2. Open the "Activity Manager"
3. Close Activity Manager
4. Press - to cycle to the next activity.

OBSERVED RESULT

There are no activities present - not the current activity, nor any running
activities, nor any stopped activities.

- has no effect.

EXPECTED RESULT

All of my activities will be displayed.

- will switch to the next running activity.
