Start Kdenlive (version 23.07.70 or the portable version 23.04.0a) 2. Put a HD video (I tried MTS,AVI and mp4) of a few minutes on the timeline . 3. Start playing (clip monitor or project monitor) OBSERVED RESULT As it is playing the used RAM memory is increasing till all the memory is used. Then the video starts to kind of stuttering. EXPECTED RESULT Not an increase of used memory. If I try the portable version 22.12.2 everything seems to be ok. If I try all these versions on my Ubuntu 22.04 then it is also ok. But when I click on “Speech recognition” I can not choose wich language I want to use. I am on Ubuntu 22.04 with the Appimage.
