[plasmashell] [Bug 444043] Make non-color-scheme-following Plasma styles respect global accent color (not the full color scheme, just the accent color)
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=444043 Johannes Jordan changed: What|Removed |Added CC||k...@lanrules.de --- Comment #29 from Johannes Jordan --- Still present in 6.0.3. It took me a long time to realize this was the issue, even though in Plasma Style settings it is clearly marked which themes follow the color scheme and which not. It is just something I do not associate with the accent color. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[kwin] [Bug 455370] Unable to use alternative Window Managers
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=455370 Johannes Jordan changed: What|Removed |Added CC||k...@lanrules.de --- Comment #8 from Johannes Jordan --- Defaulting to systemd boot is a regression for any users of custom WMs. The update simply breaks the setup. Also following the tutorial doesn't work anymore: https://userbase.kde.org/Tutorials/Using_Other_Window_Managers_with_Plasma If KDEWM variable cannot be supported, there should be at least a guideline on how to use a custom WM with newer Plasma versions. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[frameworks-kiconthemes] [Bug 402172] Compiling against Qt 5.12 breaks QIcon::themeName with Plama platform plugin
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=402172 Johannes Jordan changed: What|Removed |Added CC||k...@lanrules.de --- Comment #4 from Johannes Jordan --- In my application, I have a simple test for empty QIcon::themeName(), in which case I set a fallback theme name. The reason is that on other platforms (Windows etc.), using theme icons with fallback files in qrc *only* works when a theme name is set.[1] Now with current KDE, Qt this leads to my application to set the false theme name and ignore desktop icons. This means, there is quite a few cross-platform applications out there with this problem. [valgrind] [Bug 339160] Running signal handler with alternate stack allocated on current stack crashes callgrind
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=339160 Johannes Jordan changed: What|Removed |Added CC||k...@lanrules.de --- Comment #3 from Johannes Jordan --- It appears that because of this problem, we are still not able to run callgrind on mingw32-w64 builds with Wine. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[elisa] [Bug 408210] Layout problem: Playlist song times cut off
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=408210 --- Comment #8 from Johannes Jordan --- Nate, your attention to these details is very much appreciated! It looks/works as expected now. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[elisa] [Bug 408210] Layout problem: Playlist song times cut off
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=408210 --- Comment #3 from Johannes Jordan --- The window is not maximized. Reducing the window width reduces the effect. The effect is not seen when the window has minimal width. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[elisa] [Bug 408210] Layout problem: Playlist song times cut off
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=408210 --- Comment #1 from Johannes Jordan --- It seems this also affects the right-aligned icons in line with the number of tracks. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[elisa] [Bug 408210] New: Layout problem: Playlist song times cut off
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=408210 Bug ID: 408210 Summary: Layout problem: Playlist song times cut off Product: elisa Version: 0.4.0 Platform: Archlinux Packages OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: matthieu_gall...@yahoo.fr Reporter: k...@lanrules.de Target Milestone: --- Created attachment 120498 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=120498=edit screenshot shoing the glitch SUMMARY When the playlist is displayed in the right pane, the right-alignment of song times is off. This leads to them being displayed incomplete. OBSERVED RESULT The wider the window, the more the text is cut off. See screenshot for a fullscreen view. EXPECTED RESULT Text is perfectly right-aligned, which is, in fact, the case when the playlist is shown in the middle pane (Now Playing). SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: Archlinux with LXQt 0.14.1 KDE Plasma Version: 5.15 (unused) KDE Frameworks Version: 5.58.0 Qt Version: 5.12.3 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Also happens with current git. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[kate] [Bug 385520] Kate's tabs don't respect the theme and look like they came from Adwaita
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=385520 Johannes Jordan changed: What|Removed |Added CC||k...@lanrules.de --- Comment #12 from Johannes Jordan --- Created attachment 118021 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=118021=edit Tab movement in comparison As a user, I would like to mention that I didn't really get the special behavior of Kate tabs at all, despite tabs looking "wrong" in Kate. So I suggest not to excuse the usability deficits of this custom widget with "it's not a tabbar like the others, so it doesn't need to look like it". I would like to point out that the issue at hands doesn't stop at the static look of tabs. Also, if you want to reorder tabs manually, the visual feedback is severely lacking (missing, in fact, while you move the tab around). This irritates the user and makes dragging tabs dreadful (waiting for the "pop"). A problem that is already solved in regular Qt/KDE or GTK. Please see the comparison attached. Thank you for the consideration. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[valgrind] [Bug 393146] Memcheck fails assert "is_DebugInfo_active(di)" even though code built with -g
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=393146 --- Comment #9 from Johannes Jordan --- Created attachment 114650 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=114650=edit Minimal example that uses Qt QApplication This is a minimal example that triggers the problem on my GNU/Linux system. It is a barebone Qt application. I have Qt 5.11.1 installed on my system. You can either try to use the Makefile directly or run 'qmake minimal-example.pro' to generate one that fits your system. Note that running valgrind on *any* Qt5 application binary on my system triggers this problem. Which is expected given the nature of this minimal example. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[valgrind] [Bug 393146] Memcheck fails assert "is_DebugInfo_active(di)" even though code built with -g
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=393146 Johannes Jordan changed: What|Removed |Added CC||k...@lanrules.de --- Comment #7 from Johannes Jordan --- I also ran into this problem today. I have a GNU/Linux system as well. It doesn't matter if I try the Release or Debug build of my software. For Debug build I use: g++ version 8.2.0 with options -fopenmp -g -std=gnu++1z I tried Valgrind 3.13.0+290+2b0aa0a5-1 as well as git at fee5954ae which seems to include both the commit you mentioned as well as the patch (c263702101, b3fc500a9f). The result is the same. Anything I can do to help fix this problem? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
