I also could not find a communication diagram in the UML literature. The menu does not show a selection for a collaboration diagram but if you select communication diagram the run feedback shows: Changed view to UMLScene: "communication diagram" / type="Collaboration" ,,, I think the menu entry and any associated references to communication(diagram) be changed to collaboration.
