I am using the Manjaro KDE default which I am confident is an X session. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Choose custom cursor 2. Put cursor on desktop (it differs, sometimes defaults to "KDE Classic" scheme 3. Put cursor on panel or an application and it matches the chosen cursor in settings. OBSERVED RESULT An old or different cursor theme appears on some parts of the desktop and parts of the Plasma workspace but *does* appear on applications and the panels. EXPECTED RESULT Cursor theme should be coherent across all elements of the Plasma workspace and open applications.
