What version of the kdeconnect app are you running on your computer? The PC
side changes are also needed for the art to be fetched from your phone. I
believe there hasn't been a point release yet with the changes. You'd need to
install it from source. (Please correct me if I'm wrong)

[plasmashell] [Bug 485571] New: Clipped text and unevenly-sized widgets in the Panel

2024-04-14 Thread Krut Patel
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=485571

Bug ID: 485571
Summary: Clipped text and unevenly-sized widgets in the Panel
Classification: Plasma
   Product: plasmashell
   Version: 6.0.3
  Platform: Arch Linux
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: System Monitor
  Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org
  Reporter: kroot.pa...@gmail.com
CC: ahiems...@heimr.nl, notm...@gmail.com
  Target Milestone: 1.0

Created attachment 168531
  --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=168531&action=edit
Screenshot of the weirdly sized applets

SUMMARY
See attached screenshot (panel is in Edit mode, so the blue areas are the edit
highlights). The Network Speed widget is in text-only mode and is only 75%
visible vertically. Even more curious is the size mismatch between the Memory
Usage and Total CPU Usage applets.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
Not exactly sure. The bug occured when I changed theme from Sweet to Breeze
Dark (every component of the theme was changed at once - colors, style,
decorations, etc.)

OBSERVED RESULT
Text cut off vertically and mismatched sizes of pie-charts in System Monitor
widgets.

EXPECTED RESULT
Text fully visible and properly sized charts.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: Arch Linux
KDE Plasma Version: 6.0.3
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.1.0
Qt Version: 6.7.0

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
* A restart does not fix the bug.
* I also updated to the Frameworks 6.1.0 versions in the same session that I
changed themes, maybe that caused problems?
