[krita] [Bug 482410] New: Unable to customize relative zoom mode shortcut

2024-03-04 Thread Lars Lundefaret
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=482410

Bug ID: 482410
Summary: Unable to customize relative zoom mode shortcut
Classification: Applications
   Product: krita
   Version: 5.2.2
  Platform: unspecified
OS: macOS
Status: REPORTED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
Component: Shortcuts and Canvas Input Settings
  Assignee: krita-bugs-n...@kde.org
  Reporter: lars.lundefa...@try.no
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY
***
Unable to customize relative zoom Mode keyboard shortcut. I want to change it
so it is similar to Photoshop (out of habit) but im unable to do so.
***

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Go to the preferences (on a mac) > Canvas input settings -> Zoom Canvas
2. Find the shortcut for realtive zoom mode and change the input to something
than the middle mouse button for the shortcut "Relative Zoom Mode" with the
"Ctrl + Middle Mouse Button" as the shorcut. // Changing the modifier on this
is the only thing that works, but not the key.

OBSERVED RESULT
Changing it to any other key doesnt work sadly.

EXPECTED RESULT
The functionality is gone when changing the key. My hope was to change it to
work like in PS. Where you can hold down Z and click to zoom in and out. It
does work perfect if I dotn change the keys, but it is something of a habit in
my muscle memory. And id like to be able to change it rather than relearn it,

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
macOS: Ventura 13.1

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
M1 Pro
