[kdeconnect] [Bug 428569] VPN connection not work
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=428569 Martin Zbořil changed: What|Removed |Added CC||kdebugzi...@perfugium.net Status|REPORTED|CONFIRMED Ever confirmed|0 |1 --- Comment #1 from Martin Zbořil --- Hello, I am having (almost) same 'issue' with openvpn, but I don't think vpn in question is relevant - what is relevant is network topology effectively disabling local discovery. android client of kdeconnect seems not using it's list of custom device IPs more than once it is added, if it would have used that list instead of relying solely on local discovery via broadcast, the issue would not have existed. I would love to use the kdeconnect, but I believe that I need vpn more. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[frameworks-plasma] [Bug 429345] digital clock applet shows holidays based on time locale
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=429345 --- Comment #3 from Martin Zbořil --- I am sorry for spamming your mailboxes with this non-issue - I made a mistake somewhere when testing my claim about US holidays showing up together with explicitly selected calendars - this is not true - the US holidays list shows up only in case when no other calendar is explicitly selected in the Holidays config page.. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[frameworks-plasma] [Bug 429345] digital clock applet shows holidays based on time locale
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=429345 --- Comment #2 from Martin Zbořil --- I don't agree with the resolution as duplicate of the stalled issue - this is really not related to the linked issue except that this issue is also showing when workaround from the linked one is applied - I don't understand why US holidays should show up for English (English does not mean US no?) localization of Swedish time standard instead of Swedish ones. i am now trying to find a location of the US holidays and delete it as a workaround of this issue ;) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[frameworks-plasma] [Bug 429345] New: digital clock applet shows holidays based on time locale
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=429345 Bug ID: 429345 Summary: digital clock applet shows holidays based on time locale Product: frameworks-plasma Version: 5.68.0 Platform: Ubuntu Packages OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: minor Priority: NOR Component: libplasma Assignee: notm...@gmail.com Reporter: kdebugzi...@perfugium.net CC: plasma-b...@kde.org Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY with somewhat recent simplification in KDE an option of formatting dates to ISO 8601 is disabled.. thanks? so a workaround was proposed in https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=340982#c149 and works well, except for a side-effect of showing US holidays in Digital clock's applet's calendar popup ... I just wanted my self-sorting iso 8601 without stupid side effects like this. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. like dates sorted in only logical way, use KDE and let it take this away from you for sake of misplaced simplification - find a workaround in 6 years old, unresolved issue. 2. set your digital clock applet to show holidays which you selected. 3. see US holidays in the list of holidays when no US holidays were explicitly selected. OBSERVED RESULT holidays calendar added without a way how to remove it and not loosing the superior date format. EXPECTED RESULT locale based holidays should only be added as explicitly selected holiday list in the settings (if you insist of cleaning user's bottom for them), not like it is now.
