I also have this problem... and it's a huge problem.
I mean, when this happens, since I disabled Global Shortcuts for KRDC
(otherwise Alt+Tab will switch between my local windows, instead of between
remote windows and also because otherwise bug #200776 occurs), I can't find a
way to get out of full screen, because for some reason Ctrl+Alt+Enter (I'm
using RDP) does not work properly (it causes a screen corruption, it "doubles"
my screen so that a mirror copy of it is shown on the right side). It's strange
because Cltr+Alt+Enter in xfreerdp alone works fine. Please note I have a
multi-monitor setup (both on the local system and on the remote one).

The only "workaround" I found is that Ctrl+Esc seems to disconnect KRDC, so I
get back the KRDC windows in my Plasma session.

I still have this (really annoying) problem with KRDC 19.12.3 and xfreerdp
2.2.0 on Kubuntu 20.04.

The best workaround I could find is to disable global shortcuts for KRDC
application, so that Alt+Tab goes to the remote system rather than being
captured by Plasma. This has other advantages, but still the "out-of-the-box"
experience is much affected by this problem.

[k3b] [Bug 434707] New: Bad Italian translation in k3b about size in ISO 9660

2021-03-21 Thread Mauro Molinari
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=434707

Bug ID: 434707
Summary: Bad Italian translation in k3b about size in ISO 9660
   Product: k3b
   Version: 19.12
  Platform: Kubuntu Packages
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: GUI/Usability
  Assignee: k...@kde.org
  Reporter: mauro...@tiscali.it
CC: mich...@jabster.pl, tr...@kde.org
  Target Milestone: ---

I couldn't find the localization data on the GitHub project of k3b to submit a
PR and to check whether more recent version use different translations, maybe
localization bundles are elsewhere?

SUMMARY
When starting a DVD copy I get the following two message:
- K3b relies on the size saved in the ISO9660 header
- This might result in a corrupt copy if the source was mastered with buggy
software.

which are translated in Italian in this way, respectively:
- K3b conta sulla dimensione salvata nell'intestazione ISO-9660.
- Ciò può accadere con una copia danneggiata se il sorgente è stato
masterizzato con un software difettoso.

The first one is not that good. The second is terrible and does not explain
what the English statement says.

Better translations proposed:
- K3b fa affidamento sulla dimensione salvata nell'intestazione ISO-9660.
- Ciò può risultare in una copia danneggiata se la sorgente è stata
masterizzata con un software difettoso.

But if you've removed the "workgroup" field (which is indeed the domain field),
how can one specify the domain when it needs to connect to a company resource?
Is the "\username" syntax supported for the username field?

However, it happened once that, after clicking on the hamburger menu and then

[frameworks-kio] [Bug 320006] Dolphin crashes while trying to mount HDD

(In reply to Stefan Brüns from comment #50)

So, by "several requests" for feedback you mean twice, the second time 4 years
after the first one?

> You are apparently able to give feedback now. Why haven't you provided
> information any earlier, either details how to reproduce, or stating you can
> no longer reproduce the bug?

I can't see your feedback request in 2014. I see you worked on this bug in 2013
and, if I understand it correctly, this bug should have been fixed in KDE 4.12.
My first report here (that is, when I learnt about this problem) is AFTER your
fix and I experienced this in KDE 4.13, which, I would say, should not have the
problem.

Now, your latest request (and the only one since I've been here) is dated
2018-04-17, that is less than a week ago, in a bug report that is more than 5
years old. I don't think it's so much time...
I didn't give feedback before yesterday because:
1) I didn't have time to write here before yesterday
2) saying that I can't reproduce NOW (and within your less-than-a-week time
frame you have given us) a problem which is intermittent, is not very
informative... unless, of course, you're seeking a (not so strong) reason to
close this without any further investigation

Just to say that it's not fair to complain about missing feedback in 2018 when
the back was originally reported in 2013 (5 years ago!) and most reports are
dated 2013-2014-2015, often created with the automated error reporting system
DrKonqi. People may have changed system, Linux version, Linux distribution, KDE
version and so on. Additionally, consider this bug was not systematic, at least
for me. I personally experienced it a couple of times and DrKonqi led me here.

This said, I can say it has been a long time since I've last encountered this
problem and I agree it can be considered fixed for now.

[dolphin] [Bug 363343] Dolphin se cierra inesperadamente

Crash file

I think I encountered the same problem. I connected a 1 TB SATA hard drive
(connected to a USB 2.0 docking station) to my laptop PC and clicked on the
icon to open Dolphin in the notification popup.
The particularity of this disk is that it contains two 500 GB partitions with a
single 500 GB btrfs filesystem (configured for mirroring both metadata and data
on those two partitions). I then clicked on the icon to launch Dolphin on one
of the two partitions (because the notification popup shows two connected
volumes, instead of just one).

Just in case someone gets here, in my case the problem was caused by a recent
update of fingerprint-gui (or of some other package that broke it). See

Hi Martin,
I know, thanks, I dared to write anyway because my problem seems like to be
exactly this and in comment #3 Michał seems to suggest he fixed/worked around
this problem, but I didn't understand how it did.

Also, I'm quite sceptical I will get proper feedback on the forums. Anyway, I
won't spam any more here. Thank you.

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=317357

By "OK button" I meant the "Unlock button" indeed.
I can't even switch user.
Also, if I replace mdm with kdm, it seems like I can't even login into KDE,
ENTER does nothing there, too... I don't even see any button to click (instead
of pressing ENTER)...

I understand you don't want to work on this, but... can anybody help to fix or
workaround this?
I'm affected by this problem (in the unlock screen, I can type my password, but
ENTER does nothing, neither does clicking on the OK button with the mouse). I
think this has started to happen after the latest X update on my Linux Mint
17.3 (based on Ubuntu 14.04).
Previously it was working just fine.
