[plasma-simplemenu] [Bug 472534] New: Scroll apps by categories - Adding a new option to the Application Dashboard settings
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=472534 Bug ID: 472534 Summary: Scroll apps by categories - Adding a new option to the Application Dashboard settings Classification: Plasma Product: plasma-simplemenu Version: unspecified Platform: Manjaro OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: wishlist Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: h...@kde.org Reporter: whermer...@gmail.com CC: plasma-b...@kde.org Target Milestone: --- Created attachment 160468 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=160468=edit Application Dashboard The way used to scroll the apps is an alphabetical method in Application Dashboard when view All Aplications option. There is no way to scroll apps through their categories. There are options on the side, but it is not possible to scroll over them. To improve the user experience it would be important to have this option. Taking advantage of this issue, it would also be important to think about the number of lines scrolled using the alphabetical method. It is a little tiring when the user's habit is to use the option to view all applications. Each scroll could scroll a few more lines at once. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

Design suggestion for kubuntu default icon. I would like to change the default icon of my Kubuntu, because in my opinion the icon so weird. so I create an simple new icon design and I shared with others users. They liked so much... What is the problem with the design icon in my opinion? 1. It's seems like an gear or something like that inside an circle 2. It has much filled area to have just one color (white) 3. It's so small compared with the others icons All I said here is just my opinion and I'm just one user... so I can be not right (sorry about that). Design is so important and my intention is just help.
