No, it's not fixed. The guy there behaves strangely. He closed the first bug as
a duplicate. I filed another bug clarifying that the problem still happens in
wayland even after nvidia-utils at
https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/57018
and he still closed it as a duplicate. He closed the bugs within minutes
without giving me a chance to discuss it and complained that we don't respond
to his questions. Weird!

[dolphin] [Bug 384333] New: Arabic diacritics (Harakat) in file names causes miscalculation of highlighted text upon renaming

2017-09-03 Thread Munzir Taha Obeid
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=384333

Bug ID: 384333
Summary: Arabic diacritics (Harakat) in file names causes
miscalculation of highlighted text upon renaming
   Product: dolphin
   Version: 17.08.0
  Platform: Archlinux Packages
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
  Assignee: dolphin-bugs-n...@kde.org
  Reporter: munzirt...@gmail.com
CC: elvis.angelac...@kde.org
  Target Milestone: ---

In dolphin, right-clicking a file name and choosing rename would highlight the
part of the filename before the dot and keeps the extension intact. However, if
the filename is Arabic with some diacritics, each diacritic would cause part of
the extension to be highlighted. e.g. If the filename is:
اِسْمُهُ.mp3
and you try to rename it, the whole name would be highlighted including the
extension.

[kscreenlocker] [Bug 344567] Cannot create a new session

2015-12-16 Thread Munzir Taha Obeid via KDE Bugzilla

--- Comment #6 from Munzir Taha Obeid <munzirt...@gmail.com> ---
Created attachment 96132
  --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=96132=edit
journalctl -b output

Yes, it works when I test with the new user switcher plasmoid. I created a
completely new user and tested again and nothing happen when I do it from
K -> Leave -> New Session
I am attaching the whole journalctl -b log in case you can figure out
something.
