[plasmashell] [Bug 410088] New: [SDDM theme] When blur and controls disappear after 35 seconds, pressing certain keys wont give focus to the password field
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=410088 Bug ID: 410088 Summary: [SDDM theme] When blur and controls disappear after 35 seconds, pressing certain keys wont give focus to the password field Product: plasmashell Version: 5.16.3 Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: Theme - Breeze Assignee: visual-des...@kde.org Reporter: neo...@protonmail.com CC: plasma-b...@kde.org Target Milestone: 1.0 Pressing some keys will remove the focus on the password field once 35-40 seconds have passed after a login out of a session or booting the system. System: Neon UE 5.16.3 KDE Framework 5.60.0 QT Version 5.12.3 Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Power on the device/logout of a existing session (wait until the password field fades) 2. Press the Escape key or other keys like control, space bar. Keys that aren't actually letters or numbers. Actual Results: Pressing Esc for example will show the password field but it will be grayed out and there will be no blinking cursor in which to write the password. Until the tab key or the mouse is used to select the password field. Expected Results: Pressing Escape will let you see the password field and pressing it again will hide again. Any other key should give focus to the password field not move/remove the blinking cursor. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=398115 --- Comment #9 from Neousr --- I decided to revisit this issue but since 5.15 and along 5.16 the issue is no longer the same but the same steps and behavior to reproduce continue intact. https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=381656 Neousr changed: What|Removed |Added CC||neo...@protonmail.com --- Comment #7 from Neousr --- Bug 380390 is probably a duplicate. >From i can gather resizing the panel on horizontal needs a specific height to show the indicator (18,28,52) on a 1080p monitor at-least. On the vertical panel the width needs to get to 60 and then the indicator will show, the longer the panel is pulled away the farther the indicator gets of the actual app icon. For example stretching the panel to 84 or more will show how the indicator misbehaves. It seems that compared to the task manager the only icon option doesn't seem to have the indicator bounded to a certain position in this case the end of the application. For example the vertical can stretch to 960 and the horizontal to 458 i will argue than after 150 stops being usable. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[dragonplayer] [Bug 404315] Opening or resuming a video will open Dragon Player in a very small window
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=404315 --- Comment #3 from Neousr --- Thanks for the insight. As you said the window size aspect ratio option seems to be not related as i thought initially. As for the resize on Dragon yeah i agree it shouldn't happen even if phonon could be the culprit. After a bit more of testing. While using the Vlc backend it always default to the minimum size as you stated no mater what i do. But on the other hand the Gstreamer has a particular behavior if you open a second video as stated before it will resize to the minimum again. If instead of opening a new video Dragon player is closed, reopened and a video on the playlist is selected it will maintain the last size on the main window as expected. As i can see for whatever reason opening a new video by the play/media option while the video is still playing will reset the current window to the minimum size. Even stopping the current video and selecting another will not resize the player all the time to the minimum but it will resize to its last remembered state so could this be a problem on the saved settings per video or the default minimum size when opening a new video. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

This applies to the stream section, discover section and user playlists on the website. Making the pause option the only viable way to control the website from the plasmoid integration. Bug 402324 STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Go to https://soundcloud.com/ and browse an artist stream or user playlist and click play. 2. Click on the Plasmoid to see the current track and the media controls (The next/previous controls will be faded) OBSERVED RESULT Unable to control the next and previous tracks from the plasmoid. https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=402324 Bug ID: 402324 Summary: Pausing the current track on Soundcloud skips to the next track on first play Product: plasma-browser-integration Version: unspecified Platform: Neon Packages OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: k...@privat.broulik.de Reporter: neo...@protonmail.com Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY Starting a song on any playlist/stream on Soundcloud will show the current song name on the plasmoid but will not change the icon from playing/none to pause. Pressing the "play" button while is already playing will make the current song on Soundcloud enter a buffering loop and skip to the next song. (The play button the orange one will flash with tree dots) Making impossible to pause/play and making the Plasmoid misbehave. Manually playing a new song from the same playlist from the website will produce the same result skipping to the next song. To circumvent the loop reloading the page and starting a song will be the fist step then the second one will be from the website pause the current song. This will remove the loop and make the Plasmoid work as intended at least until refreshed. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Go to https://soundcloud.com/ and browse an artist stream or user playlist and click play. (Need to be at least two songs on the stream/playlist) 2. Click on the Plasmoid to see the current track and the media controls (Play will be available while the song is already playing) 3. Click on the "play" button (This will skip to the next song) OBSERVED RESULT Using the play/pause buttons will skip to the next song making it buffer indefinitely, manually going to the next one will repeat the same loop until no more songs are left or the browser tab is refreshed. EXPECTED RESULT Pausing the song should refresh accordingly and not skip to the next track on the playlist. [kwin] [Bug 381806] Window Decorations KCM pop up even there is no change
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=381806 --- Comment #11 from Neousr --- This continue to happen on 5.14.2. The only extra information i can give is that the "Window decoration" menu is the possible culprit. If trying to navigate to the other existing menus (Widget/GTK) while maximized or exceeding certain size on the window the message will pop up. Resize the window to the minimum size from the border and the message will not appear while moving from menus. Since once inside window decoration the default tab "Theme" seems to trigger the message. Once the minimum size of the theme tab is exceeded it will trigger, this can be seen and replicated by navigating from menus on different windows sizes. Is pretty evident that once the second theme in this case Plastik moves to the right from the bottom when the window is resized. At least that why i can gather hope this information is helpful. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

The points 3 and 4 are the ones that makes updating a bit more tedious that it should be. Specially number 4 Discover takes a bit to load the lists and then a little bit more to get the "download size" until you can perform the updates. On my opinion this makes discover feel more slow that it really is. Don't know if that is an already reported issue or an area to improve. And then go to discover and uninstall from there (it seems to be bugged there). After that discover showed the correct version and installed properly. I found a couple of interactions (even other bug it seems) but in short installing and old version of a plasmoid in "get new widgets" will make discover miss behave. It can be seen if you install or have and old plasmoid version going to discover > plasma addons and searching the plasmoid name. Either it will show (install green button) even tho it was installed from "new widgets" or showing 0 bytes ( and the wrong version) I cannot confirm what is triggering since there are multiple symptoms including the 0 bytes when uninstalled as the original report. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=392461 Neousr changed: What|Removed |Added CC||neo...@protonmail.com --- Comment #3 from Neousr --- It not only happens with uninstalled plasmoids for i can tell im getting 0 bytes updates on installed plasmoids, event calendar for example. Sometimes discover gets the install size, tried updating several times and never gets completed for example event calendar updates and returns again on next round and the other plasmoids get stuck at 0% downloaded forcing to close discover. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

I found my self trying to get to the wiki to see the schedules and the only way to do was clicking in get involved and return to the main wiki using the header on "KDE Community Wiki". It will be great having both links of the KDE wiki on the resources main page for people looking for more info about the project. I searched a bit on how and were to make the change on the web and just got some references on old bugs about WebSVN so i decide to report. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
