Bug ID: 442777
Summary: Global menu change to "no text"
   Product: okular
   Version: 1.9.3
  Platform: Ubuntu Packages
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
  Assignee: okular-de...@kde.org
  Reporter: yzsha...@126.com
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY
I don't know if this bug only affects okular, please change to the appropriate
product if necessary.

If the toolbar is edited, some global menu entries become `no text' and some
sub-menu entries were lost.

In my case, the `File', `Settings' and `Help' entries became `no text' and
`Open', `Configure Toolbars', `About KDE', `About Okular', `Help', `What's
this?' and `Donate' sub-menu entries were lost.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Launch okular
2. Edit toolbars
3. Voila!

OBSERVED RESULT
Toolbar successfully changed but menu was broken as aforesaid.

EXPECTED RESULT
Toolbar successfully changed and menu left untouched.

This r/kde thread provides a workaround: rm -rf ~/.local/share/kxmlgui5/okular,
but some configurations were lost also.

[kde] [Bug 426710] New: Password characters do not center in lock screens for certain fonts

2020-09-19 Thread RavenclawOIer
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=426710

Bug ID: 426710
Summary: Password characters do not center in lock screens for
certain fonts
   Product: kde
   Version: unspecified
  Platform: Ubuntu Packages
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
  Severity: minor
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
  Assignee: unassigned-b...@kde.org
  Reporter: yzsha...@126.com
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY
If the font is changed to something (Ubuntu font family as of my case), the
little black dots that hide the password do not place themselves in the center
of the input box.

This is only reproduced (by me) with **lock** screens.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Change the font to Ubuntu family
2. Lock the computer.
3. Type passwords.

OBSERVED RESULT
The dots are slightly shifted upwards

EXPECTED RESULT
The dots are exactly placed in the middle

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS

Operating System: Kubuntu 20.04
KDE Plasma Version: 5.18.5
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.68.0
Qt Version: 5.12.8

OS Type: 64-bit

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
I'll try to grab a photo with my smartphone some time. It's hard to get a
screenshot of the login screen (Can anyone tell me how to do that?)
