[kholidays] [Bug 365310] New: Cannot turn off display of holidays in Digital Clock widget after kholidays installed as a required package

2016-07-09 Thread Ron Willhoite via KDE Bugzilla
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=365310

Bug ID: 365310
Summary: Cannot turn off display of holidays in Digital Clock
widget after kholidays installed as a required package
   Product: kholidays
   Version: unspecified
  Platform: Archlinux Packages
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
  Assignee: kdepim-b...@kde.org
  Reporter: ronwilho...@gmail.com

During package upgrade, a new required dependency, kholidays, was installed.

Clicking on the Digital Clock widget now displays a large area with nothing in
it but the date and "No events for today" to the left of the calendar.

I checked Digital Clock settings, and see no way to turn off this off.

Not sure if this is a packaging issue on the Arch side or intended behavior by
KDE.

I'm not sure when this changed, but I now have only one of these bookmark
files, and it is 0 bytes:

$ ls -al .cache/*book*
-rw-r--r-- 1 ronw ronw 0 Jun 2 11:05
.cache/krunnerbookmarkrunnerfirefoxdbfile.sqlite

I don't mind a zero byte file.

[Spectacle] [Bug 362241] New: Rectangular Region option does not preview and does not save an image after 15.12.3-2 -> 16.04.0-1

2016-04-25 Thread Ron Willhoite via KDE Bugzilla
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=362241

Bug ID: 362241
Summary: Rectangular Region option does not preview and does
not save an image after 15.12.3-2 -> 16.04.0-1
   Product: Spectacle
   Version: unspecified
  Platform: Archlinux Packages
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED

  Priority: NOR

After upgrading from 15.12.3-2 -> 16.04.0-1, the Rectangular Region option lets
you select an area of the screen, but does not preview the image, and the saved
image is blank.

Other options like Active Window, Current Screen, etc. work as expected.

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=359368 is marked as Resolved Upstream for
the Nvidia driver.

I use the nouveau driver, and wasn't sure if whatever Nvidia has done will help
with nouveau.

I tried downgrading to 15.12.3, but Spectacle would not work at all. I assume I
would need to downgrade other, related packages.
