sempre.

[systemsettings] [Bug 419259] New: systems settings crashed and no longer works, after switching to a application style with misteriously large buttons...

2020-03-26 Thread Rui Pedro Mesquita
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=419259

Bug ID: 419259
Summary: systems settings crashed and no longer works, after
switching to a application style with misteriously
large buttons...
   Product: systemsettings
   Version: 5.18.3
  Platform: unspecified
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
  Keywords: drkonqi
  Severity: crash
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
  Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org
  Reporter: rpedr...@gmail.com
  Target Milestone: ---

Application: systemsettings5 (5.18.3)

Qt Version: 5.14.1
Frameworks Version: 5.68.0
Operating System: Linux 5.5.10-artix1-1 x86_64
Windowing system: X11
Distribution: Artix Linux

-- Information about the crash:
- What I was doing when the application crashed:
just switched switched to a different application style, a strange theme with
buttons maybe 4x normal height, of which I didn't get the name.

- Unusual behavior I noticed:
now, everything is big... :-s

- Custom settings of the application:
never noticed those themes before, now system settings just crashes every time,
with no way to check the names.

no other changes of this nature (size) were made, and I believe it's not an
accessibility theme.

- problems:
I've yet to find the specific file I need to set, to switch back to another
theme manually.

The crash can be reproduced every time.

[frameworks-kio] [Bug 364039] Dolphin crashed on file transfer

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=364039

I had the same problem in leap 42.1. In tumbleweed also produced the error, I
discovered that the problem is in the umask present in fstab. I removed the
umask and the problem solved.

UUID = 8FCC3293203B8203 / home / eragontux / Disks / SEAG2 ntfs-3g defaults,
umask = 000, locale = pt_PT.UTF-8 0 0

The problem was in that umask = 000, I do not know where it came from.

Problem solved.
