[plasmashell] [Bug 460248] plasmashell with high CPU usage in Wayland session
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=460248 Sönke Holz changed: What|Removed |Added CC||sholz8...@gmail.com --- Comment #8 from Sönke Holz --- I seem to be having the same issue (about 70% cpu usage of plasmashell and 30% kwin when running on wayland). I noticed this bug after updating to 5.26 from the 5.26 beta (5.25.90), so this bug seems to be introduced after the beta release. I am also on arch. After downgrading only kwin to 5.25.90 (plasma-workspace is still on 5.26) the bug didn't happen anymore, so it seems like this is a kwin bug not a plasmashell bug. After doing a git bisect on kwin it seems like the cherry pick commit https://invent.kde.org/plasma/kwin/-/commit/abf40c4a94c2c19dab4324c5879ca01ad048ffdc introduced this bug. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[Elisa] [Bug 450410] when you turn on the next track, the volume is reset to maximum sound.
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=450410 Sönke Holz changed: What|Removed |Added CC||sholz8...@gmail.com --- Comment #4 from Sönke Holz --- I seem to have the same issue (if the author of this bug is also using pipewire). After some digging I noticed that vlc (when using the pulsaudio output module) has the same bug for me (Elisa seems to be using libvlc). I'm using pipewire with pipewire-media-session. After changing to wireplumber the volume doesn't get reset anymore (maybe the volume somehow doesn't get stored when using pipewire-media-session? the volume of other applications is correctly restored). -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
