[Powerdevil] [Bug 481793] ddcutil constantly locked by powerdevil
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=481793 Saul Fautley changed: What|Removed |Added CC||saulfaut...@gmail.com --- Comment #2 from Saul Fautley --- This comment on a Reddit post suggests that the issue is due to PowerDevil creating a display handle for each /dev/i2c device at startup and never closing it. They also suggest proper use of the API is, for each DDC transaction, to open a display, create a display handle, perform the transaction, and then close it. https://www.reddit.com/r/kde/comments/1aitqng/comment/kp5pikr/ -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[Breeze] [Bug 482941] New: App icons in system tray not inheriting correct colors
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=482941 Bug ID: 482941 Summary: App icons in system tray not inheriting correct colors Classification: Plasma Product: Breeze Version: 6.0.1 Platform: Arch Linux OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: Icons Assignee: visual-des...@kde.org Reporter: saulfaut...@gmail.com CC: kain...@gmail.com, m...@nueljl.in Target Milestone: --- Created attachment 166755 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=166755=edit Different colored app icons in system tray SUMMARY App icons in the system tray appear to be inheriting colors from global theme "Colors" instead of colors from the "Plasma Style". STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Select Colors: Breeze 2. Select Plasma Style: Breeze Dark 3. Select Icons: Breeze or Breeze Dark 4. Run an app with a symbolic system tray icon (e.g. "headset-charge-indicator", or "solaar" if you have a Logitech mouse). OBSERVED RESULT App icons in the system tray using symbolic icons are dark colored and difficult to see, unlike the other light colored system icons such as Audio and Network. Screenshot attached. Changing global theme Colors to "Breeze Dark" changes these icons correctly to light colored (make sure to hover over the icons so they update). Evidently these icons appear to be inheriting the text color from the selected global theme colors. EXPECTED RESULT App icons in the system tray should inherit colors from the selected "Plasma Style", just like system icons do. They should not inherit colors from global theme "Colors". Or at the very least they should all inherit colors from the same place. [Powerdevil] [Bug 423035] Turn off screen shortcut turns the screen back on automatically

[kwin] [Bug 391322] Meta key randomly stops opening Plasma launcher menu
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=391322 --- Comment #24 from Saul Fautley --- Well, glad I'm not the only one :) The workaround worked temporarily, but the issue happened again after restarting. Seems like you had a similar experience per your comments in bug #423325. I'm currently trying out ksuperkey with this in kwinrc instead: [ModifierOnlyShortcuts] Meta= Seems to be working well so far, but I haven't tested it extensively. Of course still not as good as the real thing though. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[kwin] [Bug 391322] Meta key randomly stops opening Plasma launcher menu
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=391322 --- Comment #22 from Saul Fautley --- This has been annoying me to no end for the longest time, through multiple fresh installs. Figured this would be fixed at some point as it seems like a relatively high priority issue. But over 2.5 years later it seems no one can figure out the cause? This issue is hands down one of my biggest peeves with KDE, without any permanent workaround that I've been able to find. So I thought I'd just give this a bump to see if anyone has any kind of update or workaround yet? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=423035 Saul Fautley changed: What|Removed |Added CC||saulfaut...@gmail.com --- Comment #2 from Saul Fautley --- Can also confirm. It was working fine until I reassigned the shortcut. Now no matter what key I assign my screens turn back on immediately. I don't suppose there's a fix planned anytime soon or a temporary workaround? I used this daily so it's become quite frustrating to not have this feature anymore. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
