[plasmashell] [Bug 487720] On X11, Taskbar and desktop not reading correct mouse position after switching inputs using a KVM
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=487720 --- Comment #12 from Shane Whitmire --- Almost forgot to drop a comment. Not only is this bug gone, but many more other smaller bugs are gone once I switched over to wayland. Good suggestion, thanks! -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[plasmashell] [Bug 487720] Taskbar and desktop not reading correct mouse position after switching inputs using a KVM
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=487720 --- Comment #10 from Shane Whitmire --- (In reply to Nate Graham from comment #8) > Does it ever happen on Wayland too, or only on X11? Ok, so I'm not 100% sure yet as it feels "random" when it happens, but I've swapped my kvm to multiple machines back and forth and haven't been able to reproduce the issue. I'll stick with wayland for now if it is less buggy :). If I don't respond in a few days, or if I respond saying problem gone, then it's an x11 + kde issue :) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[plasmashell] [Bug 487720] Taskbar and desktop not reading correct mouse position
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=487720 --- Comment #6 from Shane Whitmire --- (In reply to Shane Whitmire from comment #5) > Also experimented with unplugging and replugging my KVM switch on the linux > computer. It has no affect I wish you could edit comments. What I mean is I currently have the bug occuring right now, and when I unplug the USB from my linux computer and back into it, I still have the same issue of it not registering my mouse. Not even plugging my mouse directly into the desktop will fix the bug. only restarting KDE. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[plasmashell] [Bug 487720] Taskbar and desktop not reading correct mouse position
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=487720 --- Comment #4 from Shane Whitmire --- So I now have more reliable reproduction steps. Sometimes when I switch my mouse / keyboard input from one computer to another computer via KVM switch, it will cause the desktop and task bar to no longer use mouse input -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[plasmashell] [Bug 487720] Taskbar and desktop not reading correct mouse position
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=487720 --- Comment #3 from Shane Whitmire --- Alright some new information. It doesn't seem like it has much to do with suspending. It looks like it has to do with the KVM switch. Whenever I plug in my kvm to another computer, it will automatically move all my inputs to the new computer. Then when I come back to my machine running KDE, it bugs out. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[Breeze] [Bug 446991] New: Calander popup in clock widget unusable on breeze light
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=446991 Bug ID: 446991 Summary: Calander popup in clock widget unusable on breeze light Product: Breeze Version: 5.23.4 Platform: Archlinux Packages OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: task Priority: NOR Component: Color scheme Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org Reporter: dogunbou...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- [url]https://imgur.com/gallery/vScsErk[/url] The calendar popup in the default standalone clock widget is unusable with breeze light / breeze theme. This is due to the text color being white on top of a whitish background. The characters are near impossible to read Suggestion: make the standalone clock widget calendar popup text black. Funnily enough, I thought the problem was due to me using a lighter background theme as highlighted here [url]https://forum.kde.org/viewtopic.php?f=19=173509[/url] causing the transparency mode to mess up, but that was not exactly the case. With lighter backgrounds, it amplifies this problem to the point where some of the text is literally unreadable. I tested the calendar with a darker background and found out that it was still difficult to fix, but better. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
