[krusader] [Bug 471837] File Icons not showing in File List panels
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=471837 --- Comment #2 from Strahinja Kustudic --- I can now also confirm that the problem is with display scaling. If I set the scaling to 100% and restart Krusader, the icons look fine. If I set the scaling to 150% (which is my default) and restart Krusader, the icons are not displayed. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[krusader] [Bug 471837] File Icons not showing in File List panels
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=471837 Strahinja Kustudic changed: What|Removed |Added CC||kustod...@gmail.com Status|REPORTED|CONFIRMED Ever confirmed|0 |1 --- Comment #1 from Strahinja Kustudic --- I have the same problem. I would also like to mention that I'm running Plasma 6 on Wayland. My Krusader window looks the same as reported on https://forum.manjaro.org/t/no-icons-in-filelist-krusader-2-8-0-1/128019. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[yakuake] [Bug 454612] If 'Keep window open when it loses focus' is checked, Yakuake does not open/retract when I press F12
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=454612 Strahinja Kustudic changed: What|Removed |Added Status|REOPENED|CONFIRMED CC||kustod...@gmail.com Version|22.12.1 |24.02.0 --- Comment #7 from Strahinja Kustudic --- STEPS TO REPRODUCE The problem only happens on Wayland to reproduce it: 1. Open Yakuake 2. In Yakuake settings enable "Keep window on when it loses focus" and "Use Open/Retract action to focus windows" 3. Open Yakuake by pressing F12 if it's not already open 4. Click on some other window so that Yakuake loses focus 5. Press F12 again EXPECTED RESULT Yakuake window should appear above other windows and have focus. ACTUAL RESULT Nothing happens. F12 only works if Yakuake is focused and it retracts the window, or if the Yakuake window is closed to open it. I think this is a duplicate of https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=402634 which was open a few years ago. Now that Wayland is the default compositor of Plasma 6, it would be really good to fix this issue because it's breaking one of the best ways for using Yakuake having it always available on F12. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[yakuake] [Bug 402634] Hotkey to open/retract yakuake doesn't work in Wayland if flag "Use Open/Retract action to focus window" is set
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=402634 Strahinja Kustudic changed: What|Removed |Added CC||kustod...@gmail.com --- Comment #15 from Strahinja Kustudic --- Any news about this issue? Wayland is now the default compositor on Plasma 6 and this bug is breaking the experience of using Yakuake. I can see there is a MR that is supposed to fix this issue (https://invent.kde.org/utilities/yakuake/-/merge_requests/91), but it was never merged. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[plasmashell] [Bug 451631] [Wayland] Plasmashell freezes briefly after focusing the desktop if it was started with a non-empty clipboard history
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=451631 Strahinja Kustudic changed: What|Removed |Added CC||kustod...@gmail.com --- Comment #12 from Strahinja Kustudic --- I noticed the same thing, but I'm using the Icon-only Task Manager. Every time I move my cursor over the open windows' icons the cursor lags. I thought that it was because of generating window thumbnails, but that's not the issue. I disabled window thumbnails in the Icon-only Task Manager and the lag is still there when hovering over icons of the open windows. This is very annoying and it's breaking my Plasma experience. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[yakuake] [Bug 441067] Yakuake is no longer available in the task switcher list
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=441067 --- Comment #14 from Strahinja Kustudic --- It maybe was a bug at first, but it worked like that for a long time and became a feature many of us got used to. I didn't see anyone creating an issue for Yakuake appearing in the task switcher. The team should at least consider making it configurable or reverting it back to how it was before if it makes more sense. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[kwin] [Bug 446078] Attaching/detaching external monitors with Wayland crashes apps/hides Plasma panel
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=446078 --- Comment #17 from Strahinja Kustudic --- I just installed Plasma 5.24.1, loged in with a Wayland session and I don't have the issue any more. I just tried connecting and disconnecting the dock and all looks great. I'll be using Wayland from now on and will report back if this issue returns. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[plasmashell] [Bug 446078] Attaching/detaching external monitors with Wayland crashes apps/hides Plasma panel
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=446078 --- Comment #4 from Strahinja Kustudic --- (In reply to Aaron.Ma from comment #3) > bug 447936 is meant to fix X11 issue, does it fix this wayland issue too? > > If so is there a built package I can test? I guess we have to wait for 5.24 to be released, but I also wouldn't mind testing it myself to check if it fixes the issue. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[plasmashell] [Bug 446078] New: Attaching/detaching external monitors with Wayland crashes apps/hides Plasma panel
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=446078 Bug ID: 446078 Summary: Attaching/detaching external monitors with Wayland crashes apps/hides Plasma panel Product: plasmashell Version: 5.23.3 Platform: Archlinux Packages OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: crash Priority: NOR Component: Multi-screen support Assignee: aleix...@kde.org Reporter: kustod...@gmail.com CC: plasma-b...@kde.org Target Milestone: 1.0 I'm running Arclinux with Plasma 5.23.3 using Wayland on Lenov X1 Carbon Gen 9. I have an external 4K monitor that is connected via thunderbolt 3 dock. Intel video driver is used. My displays are set up so that if the monitor (dock) is attached that is the only active display and the laptop display is off. If I detach the monitor (dock) the laptop display is used. I have two different problems when I disconnect the laptop from the dock and when I connect the laptop to the dock. When I disconnect the dock all my apps move on the laptop screen and everything looks to be working, but the Plasma bottom panel is not displayed. I can't see if plasma crashed or not because everything else works. I have to run: "killall plasmashell; kstart5 plasmashell" to get the panel back. Then when I connect the dock back, the laptop screen turns off and the external monitor turns on, but all the apps, except Plasma crash, or they are killed, not sure. Both of these are 100% repro. Note that I configured different scaling factors for two monitors: Laptop 150%, and external monitor 100%. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: Arch with kernel 5.14.16 (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: 5.23.3 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.88.0 Qt Version: 5.15.2 I will happily attach some logs to make it simpler to pinpoint the issue if you tell me what logs would you like me to add. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[yakuake] [Bug 394665] Crash when closing a tab
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=394665 Strahinja Kustudic changed: What|Removed |Added CC||kustod...@gmail.com --- Comment #3 from Strahinja Kustudic --- I have the same problem for a few weeks now. It usually happens when there are more tabs loaded, I don't remember it crashing with only one tab. I'm not 100% sure but I also think that it crashes when the closed tab is not the last. It's not always like this, but that's what I remembered. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
