Did you checked the mouse settings, and tried to increase the drag start time? Probably you can adjust this value, so you won't accidentally drag anymore (System Settings -> Input Devices -> Mouse -> Advanced). It does, there is no trouble as soon as the scaling is an integer. But when it's a fraction the rendering is broken. But due to that additional the layout breaks I think it is not a duplicate, I'll link the issue 391694. The colors of the results are defined by your KDE theme & color scheme, imho not inside Kdevelop. But this looks very related to 389448 (and also 392960 - marked already as duplicate), but none of these mention a white line due to broken scaling. Nevertheless I think this is a duplicate, what do you think? Do you use KDE or only yakuake and some other desktop environment? I guess when you use Kubuntu you use KDE - did you set your panel to auto hide? The only window I am able to close is Dolphin itself, you didn't mean that window, did you? :) Can you provide any other information which could help us to reproduce this bug?
